Booooo It’s Monday….Win Some Free Swag That Should Help!

Like seriously how is it Monday already?  My weekend was spent by getting some sleep and meeting with wedding vendors…..this was my exact reaction

(via tumblr)
and contracts…..as well as deposits
(via tumblr)
I know you’ve seen this before but I feel like you may see it a few more times…

(via tumblr)

So I thought I’d cheer everyone up by introducing you to some products I’ve been digging and then give it away to you because it wouldn’t be fair to keep…I would like to spread the joy with all of you!

(via tumblr)
First things first.  I wanted to tell you about my favorite little find that 100% works.  I am a Bare Minerals gal.  My face is super sensitive and breaks out if like the atmospheric pressure changes…I wish I was joking.  It is the only face makeup I can wear that doesn’t do that to me.  However with that said those little boutiques….that staff are straight up magician hustlers.  I mean the last time I went in I had a coupon for a free….I said FREE eyeshadow.  I coached myself the entire way over “Amanda get the eyeshadow say thank you and get out”. Before I know it my GBFF was complementing me on my eyes and I’m suckered into a “quick eye tutorial” and I’m leaving with $50 worth of products.
(via tumblr)
However in my haul of things and samples I did find the Holy Grail of instant blemish reliever.
It is tinted and comes with that sweet brush.  Apparently it has natural sulfur so it dries up the blemish but doesn’t make your face peel.  I put it on a few spots and no joke the next day they were gone.  Like could not see them anymore.  If you suffer from this ailment or if you have any red or uneven skin, I absolutely recommend it.  It should also last you forever because you just need a tiny bit of product.  You can find it here or at Sephora. Let me know your thoughts on it if you grab it.
Next the lovely peeps over at Organaca sent me some things to try out.  The company is pretty cool in that everything is 100% organic (duh the name I know) but when you read the label of all the products you can actually understand what you are reading.  For example the shampoo ingredient list starts with acai berry, blackberry, rose hips etc.  I mean they are even dorks like us….read the back of the shampoo.  Feel free to belt out horrible 80’s tunes….don’t mind if I do.
Here are the links.  A shampoo that smells delicious like almond extract.  This leave in conditioner.  Matte translucent face powder.
Finally my favorite thing they sent were these hair serum drops.
Okay so I’m not going to lie….the smell of the drops…let’s say to me I would call it…well it smells “earthy”.  The good thing is the smell does not stay with your hair but I will tell you my ends look amazing after using the serum for the past few weeks.  I have noticed way fewer split ends and a fullness at the bottom of my hair that I don’t usually have.  This is my hair completely air dried and with no products besides using the drops.
The next set of introductions are to Boom Boom Brow products.  I do not live in New York so I can’t pop over for these gifted angels to use their artist waxing skills however if you do live there…..I’m jealous and check them out.  I have never ever done anything to my eyebrows when “putting on my face” if you will.  However after I got sent these sweet products I noticed what a difference it made to pulling the whole look together.  I used a tiny bit of brow powder with the highlighting pencil and not going to lie I liked the finished product.
So check out the websites and use the code BARRE15 for Organaca for 15% off (plus free shipping) and BARRE20 for Boom Boom Brow which scores you 20% off.  You can find their products on of course Amazon.
Okay here is what you’re looking for the free swag.  All this pictured below…..that’s like $100 worth of stuff and a pretty sweet way to start the week off with.
Rafflecoptor is an annoying amount of work and people just hit every button….I don’t have time to police that.  So to enter into this drawing do these simple tasks.
#1 Leave me a comment with what products you would like to try from touring the product lines.
#2 In that comment also tell me which social media outlets that you follow of mine to stay up to date with my random musings.
#3 If you tweet about it you get an additional chance to win.
Each comment will get a number and I’ll use a random generator to pick a number.  It will run for a week.  Good luck!!!
I hope that brightens up your Monday!  xoxoxoxo
p.s I made a button….grab up…it’s on the right sidebar….if you have one I’ll put you on my space.  I’m getting all fancy around these parts.
**I did not get paid for this review…I did receive the products but I’m in turn giving basically all of them to you….because I love y’all like that and want to share…..I did really well in Kindergarten

Hoemgirl–that blemish heal and conceal has CHANGED MY LIFE!! It’s the only blemish treatment I use–and the more I use it, the less I need it (if that makes any sense). I also have a strange addiction to the BM products and will always leave spending half a fortune. But it’s all so freaking worth it. In looooooooove with their products. The serum drops sound like exactly what I need!! Ever since letting my hair get long, my ends just kind of have a mind of their own. I need to tame those unruly biaches. Oh, and I follow you on twitter! I think maybe instagram too, but I can’t be 100% sure of that. If I don’t, I will now. <3

OMG how is it I love ALL the BareMinerals products and yet I’ve never tried the Blemish Therapy? You’ve got me completely sold on that one! Haha I love your description of the smell of the hair serum… “earthy”. It’s ok, you can just say it smells awful ;) Totally interested in it though, I have such thin hair, I’m always up for trying new things that might help my split ends and give the appearance of thicker hair (not matter how smelly lol!). Following you on all the social media channels (duh, why wouldn’t I? ;) ) Good luck with the wedding planning girl!

A few of my friends use bare minerals and really like it but I’ve never tried anything other than their lip products! My skin is crazy sensitive as well so I might look into some of their products! I think the only vendor meeting I really enjoyed was the cake tasting!

That Liz Lemon gif is straight up magic. Man I miss that show! I desperately need something to tame my split ends. I cannot keep up with them. I mean, I could knock it off with the flat iron, but no. I’m also a brow girl (threading = best thing in life), so I’m always looking for new goodies. I’m already stalking you on Twitter and Instagram, but now I need to see if I’m missing anything ;) All the wedding fun comes after the deposits are made and the vendors need to start knockin’ your socks off. Do not let them weasel out of cake tasting!!
