Whenever I tell someone that I grew up in Boston and moved away for college they always respond with how much they love Boston as a city.  My next question to them always is when did they visit?  To which they respond, in the Summertime.  Awww yes.  There is no better city in my personal opinion to visit in the Summer other than Boston.  It is such a walkable city with tons of shopping, outdoor restaurants, sporting events, history, and beautiful hotels.  I try to make it back home at least once a year if possible, always in the Summer, and typically around a Sox/Yankees series.  My favorite area to stay hands down and I always recommend when people ask is the Back Bay.  You are close to Newbury street, excellent restaurants, and you are a short Uber ride to anywhere in the city you want to go.  It is walkable to Boston Commons which is a must stroll through when the weather is beautiful.  We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Copley Plaza which has been my favorite hotel stay in Boston to date.  The first thing you notice about this stunning hotel is what a historic landmark it is and talk about the curb appeal.

After you are warmly whisked inside by the friendly staff you are immediately awestruck by the grandeur of the front hallway known as peacock alley.

The customer service is top notch and they have implemented a texting system so you are can be in immediate contact with the concierge at all times.  They checked in enough to make you feel connected but it was not obtrusive or annoying.

We had a lovely king bed room overlooking Copley Square.  The beds are heavenly and plush.  The bathrooms are on the smaller size but this is the city and a historically older hotel.  I did absolutely adore the toiletries and did ask for a few more bottles of the lotion, it was a heavenly smelling rose perfumed.

Inside of the hotel is the Oak Long Bar which is one of the most happening spots in Boston to grab an after work drink with some light eats.  They also have quite the dinner menu and brunch on the weekends, it is a must stop when staying at the hotel or in Boston in general.  We met Biana for a quick bite and a squeeze, it’s been too long since we’ve seen each other!

A new idea they are rolling out is lunch in the park.  Just let your concierge know and they will load up a picnic basket and blanket.  You can go and dine outside in Copley Square while taking in all the history and sights around you.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza is also known as being one of the biggest sought after venues for Weddings.  I mean look at this space and you can see why.  They also have a ton of rooms for conferences and can host large events with no difficulties.

Also, being a fitness buff, I had to check out their gym facilities and was very impressed with their range of equipment and spa like gym services.  The gym has a gorgeous view of the city and there is a rooftop bar when you can partake in activities when the weather is permitting.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston is a luxury retreat inside of the city that has impeccable service without feeling pretentious. The entire staff was warm, inviting, accommodating, and available to every need that was requested.  It boosts one of the best locations in the city close to all the restaurants, shopping, attractions, and access to public transit that you need.  If you are narrowing down your choices of where to stay in Boston, I highly recommend you check out the Fairmont Copley Square.  If you have any questions definitely do not hesitate to ask!  Thank you to the Fairmont for our lovely stay and I can’t wait to go back!

This Wayf bell sleeve top is now half off and fully stocked!

Wow this hotel is gorgeous! I’d love to visit Boston and it’s not a far drive from New York so I really have no excuse why I haven’t been there yet!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! I typically always stay at the Charles in Cambridge, but I will be in Boston for a conference next month. I’ll have to check out the rates at the Fairmont!
