Friday Favorites-Who’s Ready To Party????

Happy Friday! I can’t tell you how much it warmed my heart when Biana texted me in the morning yesterday and was like “girl where are you at???”   I’m not going to lie, I missed you guys yesterday!  Is it crazy that I miss my blog friends more than my IRL friends?  I mean…..it’s okay the IRL friends don’t know what that stands for anyways. I’m just kidding…..or not but in all honesty I was doing a million things and just couldn’t muster up any creativity.  Plus Mark is sick I was being nice and taking care of him……

So instead of just posting something rushed and lame, I decided to channel all of that energy into today’s post (no pressure or anything).  I really need to finish some of my draft posts.  Does that happen to you?  I have a great idea, start it but usually something else more exciting comes around and takes over.

Anyways.  What are you up to this weekend?  My one girlfriend and bridesmaid (yeah!) Abbey it’s her birthday so we have a beach weekend planned I can’t wait to be doing this all weekend.

Let’s get into my favorites from the week!

Favorite Song
This was hands down my favorite spin song.  Anyone who is reading this who use to take my spin class probably breaks into a cold sweat when they hear this song.  It has the best climbing beat and then 3 sets of jumps.  For running it’s a great tempo song with short sprinting bursts.  For everyone else it has a killer beat and some sweet dance moves if I say so myself.  D’Banj “Oliver Twist”.  It’s a little funky but I really dig it.  What do y’all think?


Favorite Workout

Alright tiny short season is rapidly approaching.  Are you getting ready??  This workout should definitely help kick start you!  Please pin from the orginal source!
Favorite Recipe
Can I get a show of hands of people who are about one pot cooking?  Which in my mind translates to one pot cleaning.  I substituted shallots instead of yellow onion and I did put it over some whole wheat pasta that was already cooked.  Full recipe here.  Please pin from the original source!

Remember this post about being able to pronounce my patients names. This guy takes it to the next epic level. This excerpt is my favorite

I saw this pinned on one of my friends boards and from one crazy OCD girl to another, this summed up everything so perfectly.
I mean I think this is quite the accomplishment and I can do it all one handed.
I feel this way multiple times throughout the day.

  29. I’m not going to lie either – I totally missed you yesterday, too! I definitely feel you on the afternoon commute. I commute a little over an hour and i have been getting some road rage for sure lately. Some people just should not be allowed on the roads! :) I can’t wait to read the baby names!!!
