Fall Finds All Under $50 – Things I’m Digging Lately
September 16, 2014Okay so I am on a spending clothes freeze but I have made a rule if it’s under $50 then maybe it can get added to the online shopping cart. Plus those Zara ridding leggings are back and they are the best things ever. So there’s that.
Obsessed with these black lace up sandals, they are so hot right now and only $26! I pretty much live in Hue denim leggings especially this grey color. They aren’t the thickest out there by any means but they are perfect for layering with long sweaters and sticking inside of boots without added bulk. Also love their faux leather leggings.
I am all about transition pieces in Florida. I try to look for Fall dresses with a pretty print and also have sleeves. That way I can wear them with bare legs and open toes when it’s still warm or when it cools down pair them with tights and boots. Loving this print wrap dress. I am all about asymmetric draping. It reminds me of Helmut Lang that I can never afford but a girl can dream right. This grey asymmetrically draped jacket is great to pair with skinnies and some booties. This chiffon blazer has me intrigued as well.
Zara has the best leggings. They are thick, stretchy and suck everything in. I have them in just about every color. The riding leggings are my favorite. The run for 35.90 in stores and sell out online pretty quickly. I featured them in this post forever ago but at least you can check the style of it. I would probably never style them with those grey sandals but hey whaevs. Give me a soft plaid scarf any day all day. Also have my eye on this long wrap. Plaid shirts…..will definitely be living in these.
When the Fall finally rolls in I am switching over to my red work bag. This dark red structured tote would be a great addition! Also may have to add this grey zipped clutch. Finally a great pair of brown riding boots are a must. I ended up wearing my more inexpensive ones the most last year because I didn’t have to worry about drudging them through rain and bad weather. I am obsessed with these ones but they don’t count because they are $5 over the limit but they are totally in the mail as we speak. The brown ones are already sold out but it’s fine I wanted the black anyways……

I am in need of a good pair of leggings this year… I normally wear the J.Crew pixie pants, but I’m def. going to check out those Zara leggings!! Do you find that they are long enough even though you are so thin?
hello sweetie!!
I`m here the first time & I wanna stay!
How about follow each other?? I always follow back when I propose it :)
I tell you that because I really love your blog! WOW!

Love all of this ~ I adore that scarf (actually have it in my post today too)!! I bought my first plaid shirt last week and can’t wait to rock it and girl yes to those boots!! The bright side to NE is that I can actually wear all my boots LOL!!! I’ve never checked ZARA for leggings…that will change!
That red bag is amazing!! I love that red plaid shirt too. Clearly, I like red.
you’re on a spending freeze but under $50 counts, love it! lol. i am not shopping this month, but if i were i’d be all over the zara plaid scarf that was so popular last year. oh those target riding boots look fabulous, only $40?! I don’t believe it!
so cute! love the big boots. the only upside of florida’s lack of cool weather is that said clothing/shoes last forever and a day. i need to put myself on a spending freeze. a girl can daydream. xo

ohh i love that drapy cardigan and v-neck dress! xo jillian – stop by! I’m hosting a $150 Tieks gift card giveaway on cornflake dreams
The sandals they paired with the leggings…. yikes… Terrible! It’s funny, the best pair of leggings I have were $6.99 from Groop Deals. Fleece lined, high enough so they suck everything in, warm, thick and stretchy. LOVE. My thing this year are the cardigans with the elbow patches. Express had some a few seasons ago and the patches were sequins, and to this day I am still so pissed at myself for not getting them. I haven’t found any with sequins, but I have two different cardigans w/ the patches on their way to me!
I have those black lace up sandals and I definitely don’t wear them enough… probably because I wear flats pretty much every day LOL! Love those brown riding boots too! I always get cheaper boots since we never know when it’s going to rain here! Love that scarf too!!

Oo, I love these! Especially the scarf, plaid shirt, and boots! I definitely want to get a plaid shirt this year, a scarf too (a light one because who needs a big heavy scarf in FL?) and I’d like to get a new black purse because mine is falling apart!
Ok first of all ALL of these picks are perfect and right on budget- but those boots are under $50 really? Go Target! haha
Zara’s fall collection is amazing.. so many good pieces that I want!
I love the scarf! I can never seem to pull them off though, so I tend to stay away :(
Loooove it all!!!!
You’d be so proud of me– I actually had an epiphany the other day that would bring my fall/winter style from drab to sort of fab with just a few pieces!! I’m treating myself to a shopping day at the end of the month (I DON’T SHOP! ha!) But seriously…i totally live in leggings this time of year. Last year? I don’t think I put real jeans on once.
ohhh love all these recommendations! Especially the plaid shirts- looks like i need to do some online shopping!
I love all your picks, especially anything plaid! I’m so glad that it’s making a comeback this season.
I keep seeing that scarf and it is sooo tempting :)
So jealous of the fact that you can wear sandals year round! Haha. Fab picks though, love those sandals and the grey cardigan. Oh and that bag. Since I went to Catholic school my entire life, I cannot do plaid. It is cute though. I hope that you’re having a great day so far too! :-)
Everything is so cute! I wish I could were sandals year round!

I am so ready for fall fashion! I’m going to need to check out those zara leggings, they sounds fabulous! I’m on the hunt for a pair of cognac riding boots to add to my closet this fall!
those shoesss <3
I looove me some printed dresses in fall colours. I’m on the hunt for a great black and white patterned dress for this fall/winter. THANK YOU for the legging suggestion! I’m in serious need of a new pair and I think the Zara ones are just what the doctor ordered. I’m still looking for the perfect pair of taupe riding boots that aren’t suede – I found a pair last year that I didn’t get and I’ve regretted it ever since!
Ohhh I want all of these things! I really need to get to Atl and go to Zara and check out these leggings that you rave about! I need a good pair!
sooo cute! My wish list just keeps getting bigger and bigger :)
loving anything plaid as well! that red bag is perfect for fall. kudos to being on a freeze (over $50 that is) :)
Well, I officially want it all!!! ;) Especially that scarf… most of my scarves are really light/pastel colors more suited for Spring. Need to add to my fall collection!
The red bag is perfect to fall. I am in serious need for boots, love the brown ones! Target for the win!
I love a good open front cardigan/shawl that you can just toss on with workout clothes or something more dressy. Come on, cooler weather!
Ok going to try out these leggings- my biggest issue with all my leggings has been the pilling that happens!
I need some new leggings, going to check out Zara! Love all of your picks! XO
I love the cardigan (but Im a sucker for cardigans) and the booties!!
Great choices and couldn’t agree more about transition pieces!
I want/need all of this stuff for fall!
That red tote definitely needs to be in my life. I mean, it’s red for crying out loud! AND it’s only $48?!?! Umm, YES. I’ll be buying that asap.
give me all the flannel!
That draped jacket looks so comfy! I can’t get over the price either!
Get. The bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve got to get some leather leggings. Maybe I’ll head to Zara this weekend. My fall staples are WARM SOCKS (ha), leggings, comfy hoodies (stolen men’s ones obvi…and by that i mean my cousin’s haha), and boots!
That scarf! Although it’s only chilly enough a few days a year for scarves here (not that I’m complaining!) :)
Those sandals are absolutely gorgeous! As are those boots, of course. MUST get a chocolate pair of flat/low-heel boots for this year. Thanks for sharing these amazing finds!
Loving all of your picks — that dress! I need it. Let me add that to the million other things I “need” right now. xo
I love all of this, but especially that scarf! I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to wear anything but flip flops and shorts here though, because it’s refusing to cool off! Grrrr, c’mon fall! I feel your pain on that. I really do.
oh my, like everyone else.. love it all!!!! esp that it is under $50 :)
Thank you SO much for posting an affordable fall wishlist! Hello Zara leggings!!
Your picks are super awesome! But even better because they’re all under $50. You’re speaking my language! xo
That tote is perfect! I’m a sucker for red!

I want those rider boots, the scarf, AND the plaid shirt! Damnit all these blogs I follow lately are giving me too many bad ideas! ;) I’m due for a new pair of brown riding boots this fall and of course a few new scarves never hurt :)
