Today feels like a new fresh start. Last week was still a cookie laden haze and all day Friday at work it felt like Monday. This weekend I got a lot of work done. The majority of boxes are put away, my new class at the college starts today after I built the course over the weekend and lots of great new moves in Barre start this week. Also my Wedding is next month. I mean how crazy is that??? It felt so real as I was standing up on that platform getting my dress hemmed and the french bustle measured on Saturday.
Let’s catch up with life lately and then we can chat about a fabulous new giveaway.
Said goodbye to my princess pad for the past 4 1/2 years. Not going to lie it was a little emotional. Lots of great memories there.
As I drove over the bridge I was greeted with this gorgeous sunset. It was a good sign I believe.

French bustle FTW! That’s the style I went with too :) Also, winter wedding twinsie, I got a rabbit fur to wear… For the 20 mins of outdoor photos we had. I mean, you only get married once, so if you think you need that fur then I say go for it! I haven’t worn mine since. But when I get around to preserving my dress, that little furry beauty will go with it! Memories and pics, right?! Right.

OH, carpet floors – THE HORROR!!!!! Our downstairs has the only carpeted room in the house, I LOATHE vacuuming it. I usually make the hubby do it! HA!

When we moved from our apartment to our house this summer, I was wayyy more emotional than I anticpated! I lived in that pad for a year before Jason moved in, and then we got married, he started law school, we adopted pups…just so many memories in that place. But now we are creating new ones in our house so that’s nice too!
Moving out of a place, especially when it was your own & you lived there so long, is always a little hard/weird. When I moved into a new place this summer I remember just sitting in the floor of my old living room after everything was packed up & looking around.
