I honestly love the feeling when you get a budget friendly piece that is stylish, good quality, and better than expected. I have stayed away from all things Forever 21 of late just because I hate their shipping length so much. I had actually forgotten what I ordered by the time the package showed up. However, I had ordered well and wanted to share my picks with you. I also finally got all my pieces from the Nordstrom sale and wanted to go over my under $50 picks with you from that. You have less than a week until the sale is over and many pieces have been restocked which we will visit as well. I also have a new brand introduction for y’all as well. Let’s get right into this budget friendly recap.
A lot of you were asking about this off the shoulder floral dress from my post on Monday. Well, it’s from Forever 21 and under $25. I was impressed with the quality of the dress. The material is not see through and the construction looks like easily a hundred dollar dress. You can wear a strapless bra with it, as long as you occasionally have to pull it down in the back. I love the button front detail and flirty sleeves. I steamed it out and it stayed pretty wrinkle free all night. I ordered it in a small and it was true to size. It’s also not ridiculously long either, so no need to hem.
Here is the rest of my latest online shopping haul from Forever 21. These mesh zigzag leggings, I can’t even (similar here and fully stocked). They look just like the Lululemon ones but for a fraction of the cost. I insist you get them. Less than $23 and the quality is on point. They have great compression and I wore them to class the other day and they have a great dry wicking material. I sized up to a medium and they fit great (I’m usually a 6 in Lulu for a reference point).
I also picked up this denim skirt, it is 70’s perfection right? I sized up to a 28 but even could have probably gone to a 29, so it does run small. It looks like it could pass for a Madewell piece no problem. I also got this shirt (size up) and it is going to be a perfect Fall staple. With all the high waisted skinnies now, this top is a great piece for the Fall. Add some long layering necklaces to it. I also picked up these two crop tops here and here for high waisted skirts. Finally, this tulip skirt looks just like a Helmut Lang piece but it’s hello $8 on sale now. I ordered it in a medium, it does sit up high on the waist. Fully stocked jump on that one.
Okay now for my under $50 picks from the Nordstrom sale. This Lush top has been restocked and it’s a cult classic for a reason, it works for seriously everything. This Free People open back sweater has been restocked in some smaller sizes and colors. My favorite tote is still fully stocked in all colors. This long basics tunic goes with everything and it does run large so size down. The Zella crops are still in stock. I adore this hat for the Fall. The softest blanket scarf in what I think is a great pattern. Did you pick up the Butter nail set yet? I’m actually a little surprised this fab structured tote from Sole Society is still available! This sweater dress is a dead ringer of the Joie one from last season but a much better price point. I was pumped to see this Wayf off the shoulder top restocked in the black. This utility vest was on every bloggers shopping list and I can see why. I really love mixed media tops like this.
Finally. This was on my Instagram the other day. Isn’t this top from State of Grace so perfect for every day of our life? It’s super soft and a great live in top of feel to it. Also, you need this mug for all things Instagram and lay flats right? I also love this water bottle.
Also, I know these are not under $50 but two major sale alerts that are fully stocked. My favorite off the shoulder dress from Susana Monaco, it never goes on sale. Well it has finally been marked down to 40% off! Scoop it up before it sells out. Also, this Mara Hoffman Fractals dress is on 40% off. There is still plenty of Summer heat to wear both of these gems. The Susana Monaco runs true to size, I’m a small in it. The Mara Hoffman is that bodycon fit so I would recommend sizing up, I got it in a medium.
There you go! A round up of my favorite under $50 shopping buys as of recent. Actually the majority is really under $30, so there you go. What have you picked up recently that was a major steal? I hope everyone is having a fabulous week! Also, blogging housekeeping. I tried full width post on this one. What do you guys think honestly? I really like with fashion blogs lately the trend is to go full width so you can really appreciate all the details. Tell me your thoughts!
