June 10, 2014Welcome back to another installment of things I’ve been digging lately. These are some of my favorite posts to write because I love sharing new finds and things that I have been crushing on. This one is going to be kind of random…..sometimes I like to have a general direction or theme but this one…..yeah doesn’t. Anyways let’s get right into it.
This Eye Cream
I have been getting a lot of emails from people asking me which eye cream I use since I have those samples at Sephora on lockdown I have had a lot to choose from. Since weekly sleeping with no alarms never happens I was on the hunt for an eye cream that had caffeine. I was starting to notice some puffiness and darkening under my eyes (ughhh make it stop!!!). So I quickly hit up the poor solo Sephora gal in the back and managed to get four large size samples so I could “compare and contrast“. This one came out as the clear winner and the best part it was the least expensive out of all of them. It is very light, cooling, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue. I put it on first thing in the morning and really noticed a significant change in the degree of puffiness that went down. My eyes looks noticeable more awake and refreshed. Like I had a couple more hours of sleep. Oh and makeup goes on top no problem. I highly recommend it!
Face Self-Tanner
Now that Summer is rolling in I want to have that nice sun kissed look but I am trying to keep my skin out of the sun. I have experimented in the past with face self tanners but they all broke my face out like crazy. I had gotten a sample of this before and loved it so much I bought the full sized. A tiny bit goes a long way! This bottle should last you a long time! What I love about it is that it is tinted when you put it on. All weekend I had no makeup on my face just this. The color develops into a golden natural color with no streaking. Actually in this picture from yesterday I had just swiped it on before we went to dinner. No makeup just this tinted self tanner. Highly recommend it!
Body Self Tanner
Okay no matter what self tanner I put on, even when it smells all fine going on….a couple of hours later when it starts activating it just emits that smell. Like seriously what is it? Or maybe I don’t want to know. I swear Mark can walk in my place and go “yup you put on self tanner”. I was sent a few products from the peeps over at Total Skin Care Solutions and out of the products they sent my favorite one was the self tanner. I put it on in the morning before I went to work and the color developed throughout the day. It was very natural but noticeable. The best part it had a tiny bit of a smell when “activating” but it passed the smell test by Mark. He actually didn’t call me out on wearing self tanner so right there, this is hands down a winner in my book. No funny streaking just nice natural color. Oh also they have free shipping on all orders and they send you samples. You know how I feel about samples.

These sandals are seriously so comfortable and they are the most perfect neutral color so it blends right in elongated those legs and really showing off those bright pedicured toes. I pretty much live in these and being a Florida gal you know I have lots of living in sandals experience. I have kinda wider (I like to call it sturdy…..Mark calls them hoofs <– rude I know!) so for me they ran true to size. A few people commented that if you have a narrow foot to size down. This Pefect Summery Top
We started carrying this line at our Barre studio and no joke these shirts sold out the minute they came in. They are beyond soft and can be worn for class or with a pair of shorts for the Summer. I have been living in this one (can you tell how blazing hot it is already down here?)

I seriously cannot get enough of rompers. Leave it to Forever 21 to of course have the most trendy fashion forward ones at affordable prices. Not going to lie I have quite a few of those in my closet already!

I mean a girl can dream right? I am pretty much obsessed with this top. The Tone It Up Girls swear by the Maaji bathing suits. They apparently don’t cut into your hips, lay perfectly flat and shoot I mean they do full out exercise in their bikinis. I could ration spending money on a top and getting a neutral less expensive bottom or vice versa. I mean how amazing are those straps? Just saying I do have kind of a big birthday around the corner…..and finally
This butter LONDON Nail Foundation
I’ve been trying to keep my nails buff, cleaned and more natural as of late. I have been using this nail foundation and it gives a shiny natural finish look. Plus butter polishes has no formaldehyde, toluene, or DBP products in their formulas. I also really love their Hardwear Quick Dry Topcoat and it doesn’t smell like paint thinner so it makes me feel a little better about what I’m absorbing.

You’re the cutest!! <3 Sooo I just bought the Mario Badescu eye cream at Ulta. I’ve heard raving reviews about it and it was only $18. If I don’t love it, I’ll try that kind next. :) xo
The wedges!! Wishing for alllllll the wedges. I’m warming up to all the summer stuff, even though I’m not a fan of the heat. At least it means bright colors and a fresh wardrobe.
Those rompers are adorable, I am a big romper fan so comfortable and great for summer.
You know I love any recommendations about self tanner! I may have to look into this! And I love that black tank! It fits you perfectly!

Been looking for a good eye cream forever. When I’m tired and/or stressed I get the puffy bags bad!! I’m gonna give that a try :-)

first of all, finding the right eye cream for bags and circles is like my life mission, I´m using Mary Kay now, and it´s not too bad, but I no longer see the changes in my eyes. Maybe it´s time to switch creams.
Those rompers are super cute, i specially like the last one and the red one. But don´t get me started on your sandals!!! soooooo pretty, i love the criss-cross in the front.

I’ve heard great things about all these products. I wear a pair of nude flip flips from the LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohl’s that are almost identical to the ones you posted – and they are only $12.99! I’ll admit that I have them in almost every color …
So in love with that bikini top! I’m with you on self-tanner smells– even the ones that don’t smell like the typical tanner smell, still smell like something and it’s never good! Glad you found one that isn’t too bad & is Mark approved! Love the Toms ballet flats!

I have some sandals that look just like yours, mine are from Target ;) I love those rompers but sadly they do not compliment my bod…maybe one day I’ll find some cute ones that actually look cute on me.

Cute tank! Love rompers, but they don’t run in “one standard size” across the board at F21, so it’s like 1 of 3 rompers will fit. Boo. But yay for 1!?

I’ve been looking for a good self tanner for the face! I’ll have to check this stuff out. I got a spray tan a couple of weeks ago and my face faded so much faster from all the washing! haha
