Spring Trends – Candy Colored Stripes

I am seriously still in shock about that game last night!!!  That first half was so dismal but then Tom Brady……he just carried that team on his back!  That was such an exciting game.  Did you watch it?  Okay onto the fashion.  Do you ever stumble on one piece of clothing, fall in love with it, realized it’s insanely out of your price range and proceed to stalk it to find the alternatives?  That is how I was when I first saw this candy striped sweater by Saint Laurent. However, that price tag is insane.  I was on the hunt to find a good dupe that was actually similar and of good quality. I found this beauty by Kenzo that I immediately loved because of all the pastels, it was perfect for the Spring. However, I knew I could do better with the price point.  I then stumbled on this holy grail by Free People, the best part is that it is cashmere for this price point.  It’s still not completely budget friendly but we were getting warmer and honestly, I do feel like that is worth the splurge.  Then, with perseverance, I found this beauty for right around $50.  I love the perforated fabric and the colors are perfect for the Spring.  Then y’all…..I really outdid myself because I found my favorite and it’s under $20.  You are welcome.  Add to cart (just make sure you size up).   My last slam dunk find was this one, the colors aren’t as Springy but the closest look to the original that I’ve found so far. Here is my round up and styling of a trend you are going to see a lot of for the Spring, candy-colored striped sweaters.

This is by far one of my favorite shoots of yours! Those colors are so dreamy together! I admit…I didn’t stay up for the game! We moved last week and the exhaustion is still real!

Oh my gosh, that game was SERIOUSLY insane! I left the Super Bowl party when the Falcons were still pummeling the Patriots (because I’m a grandma and go to bed early…) and got home and was SHOCKED!!

Thanks for all the cheaper options! You’re always so good at finding less expensive dupes for designer pieces!

I love those pink heels everytime you wear them, who knew something like that could be so versatile! I love the strip trend, but of course I only want the one you have on, and I cannot afford that. I like the ones you linked but I love that one! Congrats on the win! What a game!

So when I was in high school the Gap literally had a striped sweater that was sooooo similar to this and I just got rid of it a year or two ago. It was my fave for years and I can’t believe it’s back!

I’m loving all the fun colors for spring. The top you’re wearing is by far my favorite. I can’t get into the super distressed jean trend, but a little distressing is okay for this mom. :)

I LOVE this fun & colorful look on you! And how perfect that the bridge matches back to the sweater too :) Adorable!

The sweater you’re wearing is def the prettiest! Love those bright, cheery colors. I’m in need of some new clothes actually (yes, actually a need – I currently have two pairs of jeans!) so I may be texting you some options if I get around to shopping this week or next!
