My Plea to Lululemon Plus an Erin Condren Giveaway
January 22, 2014Okay moving along this is my attempt to reach Lululemon….I emailed those amazing yoga pants making peeps on their website feedback page but with no luck. I should tell you I have actually cut back on my Lululemon purchases as of recent. I have found better quality with Athleta and the brands sold at my Barre studio such as Karma and Splits 59. I even have picked up some sweet Target finds as well. However I do have one favorite Lululemon top that nobody has recreated yet. It is called the Turbo Tank. It is a spin off of their No Limits Tank but in my opinion way better (so descriptive I know….I’ll get into the specifics stay with me).
Okay so the straps are wider and thicker and they don’t cut into you like the No Limits Tank does. Plus it comes up higher and straps you in better so that when you are teaching a Spin class and leaning over up in the third position you are not giving a free show to your front row.
It has a nice little cut out on the side that helps with breathing but doesn’t show too much skin that you couldn’t run to the grocery store in it afterwards (I totally know I have a bony back….I can finally do like 8 full body pushups before I hear creaking and cracking in my back….the joys of pushing 30).
So here is my dilemma (I know this isn’t really that major). They haven’t had this style in the actual stores for like 2 years. I have been buying mine from girls in Canada off of Ebay (Lululemon is based out of there). Also because there are not that many out there the Ebay prices are all jacked up….nothing makes me more mad then paying more than it is in the actual store.
So until Lululemon brings this style back any girls in Canada happen to have any Turbo Tanks in a size 4 or 6 laying around? :-)

I’m a huge Lulu fan as well and own a couple of the no-limits tank however I know exactly what your talking about (giving a show to the front row). Also, I find that when I’m doing certain barre exercises like the pretzel it can definitely make a gal a little self conscious.
PS I NEED that planner in my life, ha! If I won I would definitely have to have the planner.

Well if that doesn’t make them bring this top back to stores, im not sure what will! I always find it hard to get support with tanks like that – you know due to chest issues haha!!

I am a planner freak and would totally love this!! They are so gorgeous and make organizing your life fun! I would use this for keeping track of school, my workouts, and everyday events that I need to remind myself of. I need this! :)
I’ve been wanting to try Athleta! I love lulu as much as the next girl… But I’ve heard a lot of goo stuff from Athleta too.
I love lulu lemon, but agree that for the quality they certainly shouldn’t be as expensive as they are. I’ll check out Athleta – I’ve heard great things at a low cost!

Looking gorgeous in your gym clothes, girl! I am an Athleta girl, myself… this brand never disappoints. I too, have scored some fab workout gear at Target. Also, I’m hearing good things about Old Navy workout wear lately but haven’t tried it yet.

Also, I kind of have a mission against Lululemon. I don’t know about right now, but their CEO was pretty much a racist db and the company did some things that were not very cool (at least in my opinion – my rant from a year or two ago is here lol). That being said, they make some cute things I’d like to own!

Great giveaway! I would definitely use the credit for a planner. I was obsessed with my planner and color coded everything. I transitioned to my google calendar, but I miss having a real planner.

Comfort is the main key when it comes to yoga. You want to be more comfortable so that you can focus on your exercises not on clothes. So, always wear Lululemon yoga clothing which looks good and easily fit on every body type.
