Weekending – When Is Fall Going To Arrive In the South???

So I’ll tell you about some of my midweek fun. I went and played Bingo at Oxford Exchange which is a bookstore/restaurant/retail/coffee shop/wine bar/beautiful space hybrid that was a welcomed breath of fresh air for our area. The person calling the game sounded very familiar to this night. Naturally he use to work at Hamburger Mary’s…..hence he was very entertaining. How beautiful is the space?
I went with my bridesmaid Kelly. You may remember her from this post…..two blondes cooking. Can you tell how much I am wanting Fall weather down here?
Bingo was so fun. You all know my old lady obsession with it. I was one away from “Cover All”…..when that I 18 wasn’t called.
Friday night we went to a swank hotel restaurant by the water. The selling point is the rooftop bar. Well it was pouring rain all night…..sooooo here are some pictures from when I was there last and it was sunny out ;-)
Also here is the outfit I wore. Except with no sunglasses and a bold red lipstick.
Saturday was spent locked inside from the not so fab weather. On the bright side we really broke in that new washer and dryer……
Sunday I was going a little stir crazy so off to the mall for some shopping scoping out the Fall merchandise. All I can say is there is tons of leather, lace and jeweled accents this year. Nothing groundbreaking since that was the trends last year but they are now accented even more. I literally could have bought every single thing inside of Zara.
I really want this scarf. However it would need to be not 90 degrees out to wear it right (please kindly ignore my non-makeup face out in public self).
Oh I also played with my new iPhone that is on a slow boat (literally from……) I personally don’t think it’s too big but that’s just me. I seriously have a mini panic attack every time I try to find my current one in my purse. This one should be way easier ;-) 6 plus for reference, naturally I got it in gold.
Sunday night I had my weekly dose of palpitations from Ray Donovan. Off to another work week! How was your weekend? Check back tomorrow I got some fun things that I’m digging lately that I can’t wait to share with you! xoxoxoxoxo
I’m a fellow bingo lover, so I totally understand the obsession! Such a bummer it rained, but it looks like you had a great time anyway!! And super jealous of your new iPhone – my mom got one this weekend too, and they gave her a free iPad mini in exchange for her old iPhone – totes jealous!
I’m obsessed with my new iPhone and I totally got it in gold too!! I love the lace short sleeve shirt that you tried on – and hopefully got!! Girl that phone looks huge to me! It is bigger than your hand! Loving all your fall finds… now if it would just feel like fall in FL we’d be good LOL! people in my city were lined up SINCE WEDNESDAY to get a phone. even on the weekend when we stopped by the mall, there were massive lineups and the store was rammed. how are you liking the phone?

Looks like a fun weekend! I’m glad I’m not the only other person that thoroughly enjoys a good game of bingo – I mean seriously, nothing is better. I wish we had a Zara store here – everything looks so fab!
The oxford exchange looks so fun! I love that scarf and still obsessed with your flats! What brand are they again? I just got a new red lipstick from tarte and I love it! I hear ya on the lack of fall weather… It’s been in the 70s and 80s here! I can’t complain though, but I would like to wear the new boots that Chris bought for me. Anyways.. Sounds like a fun weekend! I like the long sleeve short that you tried on, super cute! :-)
Oh that restaurant looks incredible – such fantastic views! And I’m totally jealous of your new iPhone, especially since the 6 Plus in gold is exactly what I’ve been craving. I’m due for an upgrade, I just don’t want to deal with the Apple store yet, haha!

What a gorgeous view!! Sad it was raining this time :( It stormed all weekend here as well, but it was a good thing because it dropped our temps and I pulled out all the Fall decor! No worries though, it’s back up to 90 by tomorrow, ugh!

Absolutely love the lace detail at Zara!! I’m thinking of getting some faux leather leggings… But am worried I’ll look a little too “street walker” or worse yet “20-something club girl” and not enough “hey I’m 30 and married” and also “mom.” Thoughts?

that sucks about the weather, but i have been kind of wishing we would have a dreary rainy weekend so that we could be lazy and do nothing lol. i love how at bingo you guys are dressed for completely separate seasons-that happened last year when we went to a winery, my friend and i dressed for fall, boots, scarves etc and the other two were wearing flip flops and whatnot. love all the zara stuff, especially the scarf!

My new iphone comes in this week and I don’t know what case to get? Do you use a case for yours?? I got the gold also and I don’t want to cover it up. Is there a clear case maybe?

We had torrential downpours all weekend too, but it made for some prime movie marathon-ing! I am such an old lady at heart so a night of bingo sounds like a grand ol’ time to me. That rooftop bar looks amazing, I wish we had more along the lake shore here, but it snows for so much of the year they are few and far between!

That outdoor space is so pretty. I am totally loving that scarf! I thought the iphone 6+ looked to big but it actually doesn’t when you are holding it.

Im totally getting myself the 6 for Christmas. I went to get it this time around and it was sold out at the apple store. At least I was able to score the Macbook Pro.
