Bridal Accessories On The Radar

Alright y’all you know me.  When it comes to all things bridal and planning……I know what I like and don’t like.  I’m pretty easy give me three options, I pick one and onto the next.  I’ve been very fortunate and spoiled because my mother with her impeccable taste has basically planned the most gorgeous wedding so far.  Everyone keeps on asking how I’m doing and if I’m stressed and…….I know I still have time for all things stressful but so far it’s been easy sailing.  The Save the Dates and Bridal Shower invitations are out (more on the save the dates later).  Now it’s just ticking things off the list time.

Since things are moving along I have been finding the sweetest little bridal accessories.  I am pretty obsessed with that grey wifey tee…..I mean I’ll send you my address no biggie…..

Also thinking about getting this roman numeral necklace after the wedding with the dates.

Roman Numeral Necklace
How perfect are these glitter hangers??

Glitter Hanger

Beaded romper…..add that to the list!

Those are some of the fun things I have had my eye on to get me in the “bridal spirit” if you will!  What were some of your favorite accessories that you received or had during all your bridal festivities?  Tell me the things that you couldn’t live without leading up to the wedding or things that you thought were so important but turned out not to be?  What has been your favorite gift to give one of your friends who has recently been married?  Let me know I’m feeling all happy and bride like today!  xoxoxo

You would look unreal in that sparkly romper – especially for your honeymoon! The bride underwear is a must as is a wifey tote for your honeymoon – I mean perfect for those beaches!! :)

I don’t think I have the bride gene. Which is ultra surprising because I’m the ultimate girly girl. But all things wedding just sort of…annoyed me when I was getting married haha! I think it was mostly because I was constantly in between jobs so all I saw were $$ signs. But bride gene or not…that beaded romper is a must!!!

These all are such cute finds! I am enjoying living vicariously through you with your wedding planning – I’m just an old bag now that has been married for more than a year. :) Be sure to check out Target for some cute lingerie and bride-themed comfy clothes – they surprisingly sweet collection! Think white with Tiffany blue accents on everything.

Hmm, I can’t really answer your questions yet because I’m trying to decide my need level for that roman numeral necklace..it’s up to an 8 on the need level right now! ;) So…definitely get that! As cheesy as I felt going into my wedding getting the bride panties and the bride inspired pajamas and nighties, they were a lot of fun to have and I got my wear out of them. And sometimes I wish I could go back to being that newlywed bride again so I could justify wearing all the fun stuff again! (so I just wear it anyways…;)) Go big or go home.

Love roman numeral necklace, the wife-y and bride t-shirt, and that romper!! I really want a mrs. necklace too. I also love and want some glitter hangers and those stunning Manolos! Are you going to get those shoes?! Honestly in terms of undies, I just wore regular underwear. I know. But I found the “Bride” undies that my MOH got for me to be uncomfortable. I could not live without having lavender roses and white tulips. If I had to do it all over again today, I would change the guest list a little bit. That’s it. In terms of gifts, when we were with our friends last weekend, someone had taken their invitation and made into crystal/glass. Like an award. Sorry, trying my best to describe it haha. I thought that was very thoughtful though. I hope that you are having a great day so far!!

Aww, this is so fun! That’s so awesome that your mom has helped you so much, I’m sure that helps a lot with stress! I love that wifey tee, I kind of want it too! ;) And I love the idea of the roman numeral necklace with your wedding date, how perfect! Plus your hubby doesn’t have an excuse when it comes to remembering your anniversary that way! :)

I got a monogram necklace with my new last name. I wanted a ‘Mrs’ shirt to wear on the plane to our Maui honeymoon, but forgot to order it in time! Other than that, I had a white “BRIDE” tank for one night of my bachelorette weekend, and gave gift bags with the nail color I wanted my girls to wear at the wedding and a bold, red lipstick. I say keep it simple, because everyone won’t like everything and can I please tell you how quickly all that stuff adds up!

I am not meaning this to be a damper, at all – but pretty much everything I wanted and thought would be super cool and special, I can’t even remember now. Is that bad? Lol. I was all about ‘bride’ and ‘wifey’ everything (that grey tee though) and sparkles and special things… and I literally don’t have one thing left over that I still use or think about. I’m not saying don’t get them or have the time of your life right now because you’re living it, live it up – you know? and maybe in 2 years you’ll still love it all, unlike me. I dont quite know what I’m saying lol. Live it up, but don’t put too much into it.. Ok I’m gonna shush now.

So, the gray shirt was one of my favorite wedding gifts from a dear friend. I wore the hell out of that thing on the honeymoon. The necklace with roman numeral dates is my FAVORITE. I got mine from Layered and Long on Etsy! And I used Pearls & Pastries sequin hangers for my dress and my matron of honor’s dresses and adored the way they looked in pictures. Get them! xo

LOVING that beaded romper! And I still need to get my hands on a sequined hanger… so pretty!

Some of my favorite bridal accesories were my “Just Married” flip flops for the honeymoon, a personalized return address rubber stamp (for invitations/thank you notes), and personalized wine glasses for me and all my bridesmaids.

I definitely bought a white silky robe to get ready in the day of and it made my pictures look so much better. I wish I would’ve gotten some for my bridesmaids too. I always buy the best quality wigs as they are made from 100% human hair and also blend well with your natural hair. I ordered them from abhair at quite a reasonable rate. They also have a wide range of colored extensions that can be used to add highlights to your hair without coloring them.
