Weekending – The One Where We Were Both Home
March 16, 2015First off why do I always paint my nails and then sit down to type? It makes the whole process ten times longer when I have to peck at the keyboard with the tip of my fingers and then constantly checking to see if I messed anything up. Why do I make things more complicated???? Trying to always multitask that’s the problem. Anyways…..linking up with Biana and Meghan!
It was so nice to be home this weekend and just being able to hang with Mark. I was reflecting if you will with him on Friday night that we are both so busy that it’s just nice when we can just be with each other you know? We went and opened up a joint account with our wedding funds, got the appraisals of our wedding gifts out of the safety deposit box so now they are insured and can be worn without any problems……then headed over to Tampa to grab dinner with our friends. Like you know it’s been a long time when we got stuck in horrendous traffic and we used the time to actually catch up and laugh with each other about life.
We tried Cappy’s pizza which I cannot believe it’s taken us this long. My adult wine bev was served like this. I mean I’ll take it anyway that I can.
I threw together this outfit for dinner in about 15 seconds. Love mixing the high end with the affordable. Finally this skirt is available online grab it! It has been on major repeat. I got a size small for reference. Fits pretty true to size. I am so obsessed with these new sunglasses….cannot stop wearing them.
This is the color that is the culprit right now. It is seriously the most perfect creamy white. It is opaque enough that you only need two coats for full coverage. It is going to be on major rotation for the Spring/Summer. It just makes your nails look so clean and put together. Find it here (similar because apparently it’s now discontinued).
I had another run in with Target after taking barre on Saturday. It inspired my post for Tuesday and Thursday. I got these (on sale now!) because they have been on my mind ever since I posted about them. So comfortable highly recommend. That weekend bag is also on sale!
Get this top if you are like me and working with the itty bitty brigade. It is kinda a struggle to get in but once you do the payoff is worth it if you ask me. Insiders tip…..don’t try to pull it over your shoulders or you’ll end up like this. Step into it and wiggle it up. See wasn’t joking….sunglasses major repeat.
Sunday afternoon I taught here and then got majorly caught up for the week. Isn’t that honestly the best feeling ever?

I spent major time this weekend rounding up all the Spring looks you need and the best part is that every single one of them is under $35. I know I was pretty impressed with myself! Wednesday I have tons of wedding fun since I got all of our pictures back! Can’t wait to share them with you!!!!

Yay for some time at home with the hubs! We also had our first slow Sunday morning (not packing/moving/doing moving stuff) in about six weeks and it felt amazing.
Can we talk about places that serve wine like that? Because, like you, I’ll take it any way I can get it, but would it kill them to invest in some dang legit wine glasses?!

I don’t think I’d ever even try on those Target heels that you have on but seeing them on you makes me want them for myself. I also want a day at the pool, but I don’t see that happening until we go to the Dominican in a couple weeks. I need some sunshine!!! Love that white nail polish color too. Love your outfit! Those sunnies are fab!! Umm..I don’t think I know what your wedding gift from Mark was. Did you post it and I missed it?? Glad you got everything insured, it’s so important. So many people don’t and it is a big (costly) mistake. I even have my handbags insured. lol.

WOOHOO for getting so much marriage stuff done this weekend. WE did all appraisals immediately after the wedding too and man it felt nice knowing everything is insured. SOOOOO SOOO SOO glad you were able to hangout with your husband this weekend. Just being together is so fun, right? I had that moment just last night with my husband, eating our post dinner snack and watching hockey. The lil things are the best!

I NEED a new pair of sunglasses. We did just get a nice tip from the wedding Saturday (first one ever!) and Caleb and I are letting ourselves play with it a bit…so maybe some new shades are in order?! I love that you both got to just BE together this weekend. That’s so important!!

I LOVE those sunglasses, but since breaking my nose twice as a kid, I cant wear sun glasses. The nose piece makes my entire face numb. It’s literally the weirdest thing. Every once in a while I can find a pair that sort of “hover” and don’t do that, but it’s rare.
I want new Ray-bans so badly. And FYI, ever since you posted about those target shoes they have been in the back of my mind lol. I am trying to avoid Target at all costs because i will buy them for sure if I go!

I always feel the most vulnerable when I have just painted my nails. like you can’t do anything + you suddenly realize you need to do all the things.
That skirt and those caged shoes – amazing. I can’t wait until I can ditch the tights and rock some cute printed skirts! I’ve been loving white nails this winter, but I think the obsession is just going to keep on trucking into the spring/summer. They’re just the perfect balance of classy while still standing out!

I want those glasses! But I have such a hard time spending money on glasses because I’m so rough on them. I forget about them and through them in my bag or accidentally sit on them. I’d be sick if I broke a pair that expensive! But I do love that skirt! and that top! so many cute things!
