Happy Monday, getting back into the swing of things of being back home. This weekend was absolutely stunning in Florida. I met my friend Karen and we couldn’t wait to get outside and enjoy the last weekend of the downtown St. Petersburg Saturday morning market before it moves to the Williams Park location. The downtown market is beautiful because it’s right by the waterfront, so when it gets warm by midday, it’s easy to stroll down to the waterfront to let the Tampa Bay breeze cool you off. Since I am now a Pinellas country resident I have really been trying to get out and see all that St. Pete has to offer! Linking up with Biana for her weekending update.
There are plenty of vendors and food options.
It was hard but we narrowed our choices down to empanadas.
Then we headed down to the water.
It was seriously the most gorgeous day out.
Can you tell how much I love playing around with my new lens?
We could have sat outside all day.
We headed on home since it was starting to get steamy out.
Then brainstormed lots of fabulous ideas for the next few weeks.
Saturday night Mark and I headed over to Kona Grill for dinner and met up with friends. I brought my camera because I wanted to grab some pretty outdoor pictures. Well the clouds were rolling in and we narrowly escaped getting soaked. I breathed a sigh of relief since I was wearing my new white skinnies if you remember from this post. Clearly I was meant to get rained on…..has this ever happened to anyone? I was served water in a glass and the bottom of it literally broke as I picked it up and an entire glass of water dumped all over my pants. What the?!?!?! I mean I’m glad it wasn’t the red wine I was drinking but it was so crazy! The apps were really good though at least!
Sunday was spent catching up. Have you ever tried to fix something on your blog before and hours go by and you still haven’t solved the problem? Yup that was me on Sunday. Still haven’t gotten rid of the title on the top of my page and have no new blog posts to show for it. Oh well. Who needs sleep anyways? I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I have lots of Greece recaps coming at you mid week! Make sure to check back! xoxoxo

It’s nice that the market is right by the water to help cool off. I have so been there with trying to fix WordPress bugs. IT does get easier though.

Ahhhhh, this is why I wish I lived near water… So pretty! And there must be something in the air, because I spent hours on Tuesday trying to fix something with my blog, and then my iPhone, and didn’t manage to get one single post done for the week. Awesome. Why can’t blogs just behave?!
Kate @ Green Fashionista says
That market looks like the perfect place for a weekend stroll, and LOVING the detail on the back of your dress… so pretty! And I’m so sorry your water glass broke and water dumped into your lap. That used to happen when I waited tables in college, and it’s due to a super hot glass that just came out of the dishwasher and a super cold drink going into it before it’s had time to cool off on it’s own. It causes the glass to break :-P
Have a fabulous week gurlie <3

Model status up there. Look at you! I miss living and walking right by the water–so beautiful!

You and your friend were the best looking and the best dressed people at the market for sure! :-) Beautiful pictures too. I got drenched on the way home from work on Saturday and was not wearing the right shoes. So I get the white jeans and rain thing. Story of my life with trying to figure out stuff on the blog too haha. I hope that you have a wonderful day today too lady!! :-)

I absolutely love markets like this one! They are so fun and a great way to get immersed in the local community and culture. I’m obsessed with what you were wearing – I definitely can’t rock the crop top, but you look fabulous. Happy Monday!
Traci @ Waltz Me To Heaven says
Great pics! Definitely feel your pain with trying to figure things out with no success! I’ve had photo issues lately and it’s driving me nuts.
Happy Monday!

That market looks like so much fun especially being right along the water! I’m terrified of wearing white pants because I’m a klutz and know I will get something on there even if I have them on for a little while!

The market looks like so much fun! I’ll have to check it out next time I’m over on the St. Pete side of town. So weird about the water glass – that happened to my bf one time when we were at dinner too!
Sara says
The hula hoop!!! Love that!!! You made me hungry for empanadas too!! Sad about getting soaked in white pants – that’s always my luck too!!
Jenna @ A Savory Feast says
I need to go to the St. Pete morning market sometime! Last weekend I went to the Farmer’s Market in Sarasota and was planning to write a post about it soon, too. And Kona Grill is one of my favorites! They have some great deals for happy hour and the one near me has a nice outdoor seating area.
Natalie says
I’ve been to the landing before. Back in 05′ I believe. I remember that exact same spot you are sitting at by the water. I went to the Warped Tour and the girls we were with jumped into that water and it took a few people to get them out. Crazy day I tell ya.
Ally says
I felt like I was just looking at a magazine, those pictures are awesome! I really need to get a nice camera!

so jealous of your weekend and how close to the water you are! and to answer your question, yes! like EVERY TIME I try to fix something on WordPress. It’s seriously the part that makes me wish I had never switched over. It’s been bad the past week or so. I think my hosting company hates me since I’ve had to call so much!

Oh man that place morning market is great! You guys take awesome photos!
