Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. I certainly had a fun one since the St. Petersburg Pride Parade coincided with you know….a pretty big decision. There was a lot of celebrating to be had, that is for sure. I had a wonderful weekend trying to fit everything in like always. I also found some time to shop the Bloomingdale’s 4th of July sale. The prices were insane and then I had an additional 40% off coupon code. Linking up with Biana!
We had a great start to the weekend. I met Mark over at Fly Bar in downtown Tampa for a happy hour drink and some bites. I love their rooftop deck. The food is really good (get the sliders). Half off apps and drink specials.
Saturday, I was up early for a proper barre booty kicking. The class was max capacity and had so much energy! Then back home to get some work in before the parade. We started off at Mark’s friends house before the festivities. He just bought the cutest historic bungalow complete with original turquoise door. Naturally I needed to get some blogger pictures in right?
Then over to the parade for a little bit to check out the party.
It was so crowded I didn’t get a chance to grab a lot of pictures (plus there were a lot of painted bodies, not PG blog rated)……everyone was definitely having fun.
We called it a night and headed home. Sunday was spent catching up and I also wrangled in the husband photographer to take pictures over the weekend. Make sure you take back tomorrow when I show you all the ways you can style chambray shirts for the Summer.
I am obsessed with these shoes, they are beyond comfortable and on sale. Polka dot skirt old similar here | chambray top here.

Onto my Bloomindales sale picks. If you are a Bloomindale’s loyalist check your email. I got a 40% off coupon code to use on top of the sale prices. Things are selling out quickly. I was trying to check out and kept on getting alerts that my pieces were no longer available. The prices are that good. These perfect open toe beauties are on their way, finally white distressed skinnies on sale, rag & bone distressed boyfriend shorts, this dress will be on major repeat when the temps cool down.

Lastly. For all those Summer travels, Disney is the next one adding to the list of bans selfie sticks. It was so crazy how many people had them in Europe. At first I was like what??? Why would they ban them but then I read their reasoning. People using them on the rides??? Are you kidding me? They have had to stop rides due to people dropping them and messing up the tracks. I guess people were fed up having to buy the pictures of the mid drop scream in the Tower of Terror.
I hope y’all had a fabulous weekend! Have you had any places take away your selfie sticks yet? What things are on your radar for the Bloomindales sale? Make sure to check back tomorrow for my things I’m digging lately post. xoxoxo

I heard Disney banned the selfie sticks but I didn’t know why – makes total sense now! How dangerous would that be to drop a stick during a ride?!
Loving that little Florida bungalow.
Hope you have a great week Amanda!

I almost picked up a chambray shirt from banana this weekend, but it just wasn’t light enough!! the pride parade looks like it was so much fun and one thing I miss about Florida is happy hour and half priced drinks – why MA doesn’t get on board with that is beyond me lol!! Happy Monday love!! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

It looks like you had a great weekend-workout, happy hour on a rooftop with a pretty view, pride, and pretty outfits?? All of it is a win!
I had no idea why the selfie sticks were being banned, but it makes sense. Guess people will have to do it the old fashioned way and ask some people to take pics for them.
Hope you are all rested and ready to take on Monday!!

I wish I went to pride! I wanted to help celebrate :)

It looks like you had so much fun at Pride and of course your outfit was on point!! I can’t get over those sandals! That is so sad about Disney – you got so many gorgeous photos of your Greece trip because of your selfie stick! People are such a-holes.

I started seeing selfie sticks popping up everywhere in the Disney parks near the end of my annual pass, and yes I saw people using them on rides. So dangerous!
Loving your sale picks (of course!), especially those sunnies. So pretty!
Have a fabulous week gurlie <3

Can we just get America to ban all selfie sticks?! What happened to asking people to take photos for you? You know, actually talking to someone face to face? But no, we invent a damn stick to avoid personal contact. And to make you look really, really dumb… Anyway, I wish Dallas had a Pride Parade! Minneapolis had a heck of a Pride celebration, but I haven’t found anything in Dallas. It’s such a blast! And I totally hear you about the PG blog thing… Haha!

I need to check out Fly Bar! Roof top decks are the best. Have you been to the Canopy in St. Pete near the pier? It’s my favorite!

Looks like a fun weekend! I did not realize that selfie sticks could be so dangerous. That is crazy! I can’t imagine pulling one out on a roller coaster. Have a great day.

That polka dot skirt is DARLING.
I laughed when you mentioned that the photos wouldn’t be G rated. I can only imagine. But hey–I bet everyone was having a blast! Yay equality.

I figured that’s why Disney banned the selfie sticks – I don’t think they are worth it if they are going to jeopardize people’s safety! Anyways, looks like you had a good weekend – I bet the parade was extra fun given what happened late last week. I can’t wait to see how you style your chambray! :)

It was pride weekend here too!! Part of the parade route is literally at the foot of my block. :-) Love your polka dot skirt and those nude shoes. Oh and all of your Bloomingdales picks!! We also enjoy a good roof top here as well as a place with good food and drink specials. :-) Glad that you had a lovely weekend lady!!

Rooftop drinking is the best in fun weather. Jealous of your drinks!!!!
I’m glad people are banning selfie sticks, they are annoying and people can get hurt if they are being used on rides and stuff. Just ask someone to take your picture, NBD, peeps!

sounds like such a fun weekend! I agree, i do love your friend’s door!

I always love your shopping posts. I wish you would do one for a girl going on a beach vacation on a budget! =)
I just saw my first selfie stick this weekend. I can totally see why they are being banned!

that’s crazy about the selfie sticks! we went to a lot of places they weren’t allowed like The Vatican & The Colosseum and people were still using them, which I thought was rude. I can’t believe the idiots using them on rides though!
