Happy Monday. I know talking about the weather is filler conversation but when it finally cools down and the humidity subsides in FL, we get excited. I have tried to buy high quality staples that will last multiple seasons. Then add a few trendy pieces that don’t break that bank. This weekend was spent organizing and getting ready for the next few months. I have a feeling this holiday season is going to fly by. Let’s get into a few fun snaps from the weekend, linking up with B.
Before we dive in, did you know the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale is going on right now? I have never seen her prices marked this low! I am in love with this moto crossbody. Check out this gorgeous jumbo burgundy number. If you’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on a Mini Mac this is the time, seriously it’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen it marked.
Friday, I was off of work. If you follow me on snapchat (@meetatthebarre) you probably were clued into that. When I’m home I love snapping products and everyday life pics. It’s so much easier to take a quick 10 second video of why I’m loving a certain product instead of having to style it pretty. Am I right?
Saturday we headed over to Universal to take advantage of our Annual passes. The new NBC Sports Grill opened in City Walk and I absolutely recommend it if you want to catch a game before going into the park. The food was excellent and pretty reasonably priced. I also liked that they have open air dining. The weather was just glorious this weekend. Humidity gone. We headed over to the park and I had to get a shot inside of the London phone booth. Usually it is so crowded but for once nobody was around it.
We made our way over to the main attraction which was the concert. I’m not going to lie y’all. I was pumped to see Jason Derulo.
He was beyond impressive. Even Mark was blown away. He can sing, his dancing is incredible and we were throughly entertained the entire time. His entire crew was on point. The DJ got the crowd going, his dancers were mind blowing and he barely took breaks the entire time while singing and dancing non stop. His workout routine must be killer to keep up with that kind of stamina and endurance. Naturally I snapped like a crazy person the whole time. If he is ever in your home town, I highly recommend checking him out.
I have wanted grey booties for the Fall and these are on point. They are comfortable and run true to size. Find them here. Similar pair on major sale here. Mid range here and here. Budget friendly under $40 here.
Last. I have been watching a fringe purse forever. Even though the trend is definitely here to stay, I wanted to find an affordable option. Well, I finally found it here. You can use it as a clutch, or attach the strap and use it as a crossbody or shoulder purse. The color goes with everything. Every single time I sport it, I get asked where to find it. It is by Violet Ray and all the pieces are made in the USA in New York. Check out the line. It was hard just to pick one!
I also swapped out my sunnies again for these fab Karen Walker ones. Have you checked out DITTO yet? Unlimited designer sunglasses for $24 a month. I am now on my third pair in a month. The shipping is free on both ends. They send you out a new pair, then just put your current pair in the box, use the pre paid shipping label and enjoy your latest designer glasses. So far I’ve had Derek Lam, Rayban and now Karen Walker. Completely seamless and great customer service. Try your first month for free with the code MEETATTHEBARRE. Which ones would you try first?
Make sure you check back tomorrow, I have 5 products that I have been using on major repeat and I’ll have all the details for you. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
