Weekending – Finally Starting to Feel Like Fall

Happy Monday.  I know talking about the weather is filler conversation but when it finally cools down and the humidity subsides in FL, we get excited.  I have tried to buy high quality staples that will last multiple seasons.  Then add a few trendy pieces that don’t break that bank.  This weekend was spent organizing and getting ready for the next few months.  I have a feeling this holiday season is going to fly by.  Let’s get into a few fun snaps from the weekend, linking up with B.

Before we dive in, did you know the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale is going on right now?  I have never seen her prices marked this low!  I am in love with this moto crossbody.  Check out this gorgeous jumbo burgundy number.  If you’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on a Mini Mac this is the time, seriously it’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen it marked.

Cheers to the Weekend

Friday, I was off of work.  If you follow me on snapchat (@meetatthebarre) you probably were clued into that.  When I’m home I love snapping products and everyday life pics.  It’s so much easier to take a quick 10 second video of why I’m loving a certain product instead of having to style it pretty.  Am I right?

Saturday we headed over to Universal to take advantage of our Annual passes.  The new NBC Sports Grill opened in City Walk and I absolutely recommend it if you want to catch a game before going into the park.  The food was excellent and pretty reasonably priced.  I also liked that they have open air dining.  The weather was just glorious this weekend.  Humidity gone.  We headed over to the park and I had to get a shot inside of the London phone booth.  Usually it is so crowded but for once nobody was around it.Diagon Alley Universal Studios

Over to our favorite part of the park.  I am telling you, every time we go, we find new details that we didn’t see the last time!Diagon Alley in Universal Studios OrlandoGringotts Bank Diagon AlleyDiagon AlleyOwls inside Diagon AlleyDiagon Alley OrlandoDiagon Alley UniversalInside Diagon AlleyWeasley ShopDobby the ElfGringotts

Even though we were stuffed from lunch, you know I can always find room for ice cream.Harry Potter Ice Cream Time

We made our way over to the main attraction which was the concert.  I’m not going to lie y’all.  I was pumped to see Jason Derulo.

Jason Derulo ConcertHe was beyond impressive.  Even Mark was blown away.  He can sing, his dancing is incredible and we were throughly entertained the entire time.  His entire crew was on point.  The DJ got the crowd going, his dancers were mind blowing and he barely took breaks the entire time while singing and dancing non stop.  His workout routine must be killer to keep up with that kind of stamina and endurance.  Naturally I snapped like a crazy person the whole time.  If he is ever in your home town, I highly recommend checking him out.

Sunday was spent prepping for the week.  Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week?  I have been getting my black Friday sales guides ready for you.  Don’t worry.  You won’t need to leave the comforts of your comfy pants and unwashed hair.  Plaid Target ScarfIn the meantime. I insist you go to Target and get this blanket scarf.  Sale at Target currently right now is buy one get one 50% off.  So you can totally add this reversible one to your cart or this beauty.  See, I’m making your holiday shopping so easy!

Fall BootiesI have wanted grey booties for the Fall and these are on point.  They are comfortable and run true to size.  Find them here.  Similar pair on major sale here.  Mid range here and here.  Budget friendly under $40 here.

Last.  I have been watching a fringe purse forever.  Even though the trend is definitely here to stay, I wanted to find an affordable option.  Well, I finally found it here.  You can use it as a clutch, or attach the strap and use it as a crossbody or shoulder purse.  The color goes with everything.  Every single time I sport it, I get asked where to find it.  It is by Violet Ray and all the pieces are made in the USA in New York.  Check out the line.  It was hard just to pick one!

Violet Ray Fringe Purse. Affordable fringe purse.I also swapped out my sunnies again for these fab Karen Walker ones.  Have you checked out DITTO yet?  Unlimited designer sunglasses for $24 a month.  I am now on my third pair in a month.  The shipping is free on both ends.  They send you out a new pair, then just put your current pair in the box, use the pre paid shipping label and enjoy your latest designer glasses.  So far I’ve had Derek Lam, Rayban and now Karen Walker.  Completely seamless and great customer service.  Try your first month for free with the code MEETATTHEBARRE.  Which ones would you try first?

Make sure you check back tomorrow, I have 5 products that I have been using on major repeat and I’ll have all the details for you.  I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

Every time you head to Universal I think about how I want to take a trip and go there with the kiddies! Soon… Soon! Grey booties are on point, I love my pair because they go with everything. I saw Bruno Mars at a Fashionably Loud event back in 2011 and was so not thrilled to see him in the ticket… But that man took the stage and was AMAZING. He played his own instruments, danced and sang better live than on the radio. I bet Jason was like that, huh?

Jason Derulo kind of reminds me of Usher! I think that he is really good and I want to know what his workout consists of. Speaking of, I read that he taught a cardio class at a gym. Could you imagine walking into that class? Haha. LOVE that burgundy RM bag, your fringe bag is fab, and love that plaid scarf!! It also looks like you had a fun weekend too. I’m glad! I hope that you have a lovely day today too. :-)

I’m dying to visit the new Harry Potter park! We went two years ago when it was under construction, and I’ve been meaning to make it back there! From the pictures, it looks amazing! It’s finally starting to feel like fall in Texas, so my fingers are crossed that it it’ll stay that way!

  19. November 16, 2015 / 11:59 AM

Ahhhhh I want to go to Harry Potter world!!!! That concert looks like it was a lot of fun too! I need to get better about checking snaps. I think I only checked them on Sunday so probably missed a lot. I need to get to Target to get a blanket scarf….I am just trying to decide if I will wear it or not. I have several scarves that never see any wear because I hate things around my neck like that but I really want to wear them. The struggle!!!
