Weekending – Local Living

Happy Monday!  I am a little tired today being up watching that game.  Now I love football, I get a little depressed when the season is over.  I’m not a huge basketball fan, just have to tide myself over with hockey in the meantime.  I hope everyone had a nice weekend!  Linking up with B.

I have been on a mission to find fun local places and highlight them on the blog, so naturally I pick all the brains of the fabulous local barre gals.  Lori me about The Wooden Rooster which is a fabulous crepe place right by Bay Street.  I had the TLT on a buckwheat crepe with roasted peppers and basil aioli, it was delicious.  Just enough food and the buckwheat kept me full all day.  Local peeps I highly suggest you check it out.

We also made it over to the Indie Market for a little bit before it started raining out.  I prefer when this venue is by the Green Bench brewery, it had more of a street vibe to me and I love the green space over at the brewery.  I am really starting to fall in love with St. Pete!

It was actually pretty cool down here in FL this weekend so I got to bust out some of those boots and cold weather items check back tomorrow for full outfit details and a fab giveaway!

The crepes from the Wooden Rooster sound delicious and it looks like a cute restaurant. I adore St Pete and I’m seriously due for another visit. I loved walking around the downtown area with all the cute brunch spots and the amazing farmer’s marker where I also died from eating the world’s hottest hot sauce. LOL

Our area is seriously lacking when it comes to cute shops and local vibes. I just love visiting my friends in Cleveland because their so much character at the stores and over all feel of the area. Summer gets better around here. Tons of local festivities and farmers markets. (:

I LOVE hockey. I’m kind of okay with football season being over…I mean it was over a long time ago for my team anyway haha. I love local shopping too and supporting small businesses rather than huge chain retailers. :)

You look fab in that outfit! That crepe place looks awesome, I love the mismatching furniture and the cutesy feel of it, awesome to find new local places to enjoy! I’m sad that football is over too, but that just means we are that much closer to summer :)!
