Hello my loves.  Today I wanted to give you an exclusive sneak peak at what is trending on my radar for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2016.  Also, how the sale works with all the dates and how you can get early access.  I honestly feel like Summer just got underway and I’m still loving all the bright colors and fun prints.  However, have you noticed that Fall fashion is starting to sneak in already?  This is why I love the Nordstrom sale.  I pick a few higher budget staple pieces, like a good pair of skinny denim, a pair of boots, one investment purse and then all the accessories.  I complete an inventory of my wardrobe and see what gaps need to be filled in.  I stock up during the sale, squirrel it away and when Fall rolls around, I am set.  Then, I’m not paying full price for leather boots that I already scored during the sale.  Make sense?

Okay here is how it works with the dates.

If you are a Nordstrom card holder (debit or credit) you have first access to the sale an entire week early.  I will tell you to shop early because the best deals sell out early and they do not restock.  The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2016 will start for cardholders July 14th through the 21st.  Then the sale opens up for the rest of the public July 22nd and it continues through August 7th.  My sister and I share the Nordstrom card.  It’s a good and bad thing because she she’s what I order……and then she wants it. I get an email of what she orders and then I must get it.  We are bad for each other.  It’s not too late, you can still sign up to get the early access!  Check it here.

So I have poured over the preview catalog and here are my top picks so far.  I can pretty much link all the exact items (when you click on them, they won’t be discounted yet) but you get an idea and can start building your shopping list.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2016 Preview

You know my love for all things Joie and these fringe heels are going into my shopping cart.  I love that the fringe isn’t too loud and the heel is more petite.  Now, just to narrow it down….getting them in black or camel?  Ivanka Trump has the cutest military ankle boot, the link isn’t live but I added the picture to the shoe collage below, third in from the left.  How fab would those look with tights and a dress?  Vince Camuto has a gorgeous pair of lace up heels.  They look similar to these but the toe is pointed and closed in.  I never bought a pair of ballet lace up flats but I may snag these especially with the price point they will be at.  I adore my Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots, the quality is on point.  I may pick up these booties, not exact but they are very similar to the exact in the collage.  The Rag & Bone Margot booties are always some of the first to sell out.  If they are on your list, make sure you snag them early.  I adore these stacked heels.  I have a pair of Vince Camuto over the knee boots  and they have really held up.  I guarantee you these Hunter boots are going to sell out insanely quick. I bought a pair of Ugg slippers from the last sale, they are the first things on my feet when I get home every night.

Let’s move onto the clothes now.  Hinge has a gorgeous long sleeve floral dress that less than $60 and will be in my cart.  Treasure & Bond has a great pair of charcoal denim jeans that are on my radar.  Topshop has a great pair of distressed skinnies they look like these but darker rinse.  I pretty much live in my AG leggings, they usually sell out quickly so jump on them.  Rag & Bone skinnies are on my shopping list this sale.  They have a cult following for a reason.  I love this Caslon draped utility jacket especially the price point.  This is similar but the vest version.  Move over Zella, Alo is where it is at.  We carry it at my studio and I adore the leggings.

Now onto my favorite!  Accessories, makeup and sets.  Okay, this bag is stunning.  It is a Chloe esque dupe but a great price point.  The sale has the color set in burgundy and red.  Gorgeous!  Move over Karen Walker, these sunnies are the next big wave.  I will be picking up the Nadri crystal drop necklace.  The Rebecca Minkoff Vanity saddle bag is going to be the hottest seller.  That is top of my list.  True story.  Every anniversary sale, I stock up on the Volupsa candle three pack.  Then, I break them up for gifts throughout the year.  Or pick up the Nest candle set.  They are such a great value bundle.  YSL Black Opium perfume is my favorite Winter scent.  You know how much I love my YSL lip stains, the sets are top of my radar.  Remember my PMD review?  I still use it and you can snag it super discounted during this sale.
