I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions. I feel like it is an excuse to continue with the same pattern of bad behavior until you give yourself that magical cutoff date. Then we wonder why it fails year after year. It takes at least 2-3 weeks of a set behavior for a change to actually sink in and become a habit. You know what I’m talking about right? Every year the gym parking lot is flooded, my barre class is packed and it is all those Resolutions taking place. I am not one to bag on anyone trying to be healthy but this is my public service announcement of what are you waiting for? If you want to make a change, do it now. You will feel so much better over the holidays if you are starting those healthy habits now.
I have pledged to take 4 barre classes a week and add a day of running. I have set my classes into my calendar just like an appointment that I have to make. Accountability! If for some reason I can’t make it to a class, I have plenty of at home workouts to choose from. I wanted to share a few of them with you as well. Make sure you are following my fitness board on Pinterest. I pin at least 5-10 workouts daily.
Great daily workout printable that you can easily do each day before work.

Alright, what Resolution are you thinking about that you could possibly start now? What help do you need to get it going? I think we all need to hold each other accountability and get going with those healthy habits. Don’t put off for tomorrow what you could get done or started with today. I almost completed my barre requirements for the week and plan on adding a run in tomorrow. What fitness goals are you working on this week? Can you believe this is the last day of November?!?! Time seriously needs to slow down.

I dont set resolutions…goals maybe, but not resolutions! I schedule my classes out as well, but the running sadly can’t happen here unless we have a fluke warm day…I love the at home workouts from Pop Sugar too! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

You probably know by now that I could not agree with you more!!! :-) I started working out 6 days a week a few weeks ago and it has made a big difference. I have more energy and I just feel better. Chris got me some Lululemon workout pants and another jacket for my birthday and I have been wearing them like crazy. I’ll have to check out the clothes that you are wearing too. :-) Thank you again for sharing and I hope that you are having a great week so far!!!

I have a lot of resolutions that have been buzzing around in my head. I actually can’t wait to look at last years and see if I tackled any of them? (; I know that one of mine is to read a book each month. So 12 books all together. I like reading, when I make time for it. I’ve started early. (;

Yes! I’m so with you on this. We are going to Cabo San Lucas the end of February, so that’s all the motivation I need to stay active during the holidays.

I love that Echo tank, so cute! I am normally one who hates NY resolutions and usually don’t make them. I hate sitting around waiting to make changes that I could easily do now. But this year? Well, I do plan on starting back on Whole 30 in January but that is because of baby! I don’t really see me prepping and planning and trying to stay on that strict of something the first few weeks she is here but January 1 is the deadline I am giving myself to start with the eating right to lose baby weight, and a few weeks after that I will hopefully be cleared to start working out again too. But there is always something you can do today to make a healthy change! Me? I had a huge serving of veggies for lunch today!

I 100% agree with not making resolutions. At our Pilates studio we actually see the biggest increase in attendance in February, not January.
And now a doing a headstand is definitely on my bucket list!

I started making fitness just a routine a few years ago and it it is just part of my life too, no resolution needed. I schedule it like I schedule my meals! Loving this playlist, I really need to get into running at least one day a week too. I may start that this weekend! Thanks for the motivation, we all need it!

I agree, NY resolutions are over rated! I always list things I’d like to work on but I easily forget about them by February! I do like the idea of starting the new year with a clean fresh slate though!

Yes girl! I don’t get resolutions. Why don’t people just make a plan and start as soon as they can? It always feel like an excuse to continue a bad habit.
