I have really been working on building up my Instagram engagement and feed lately. I swear you could probably spend an entire day on just Instagram. I see why a lot of people were so quick to automate things with programs such as Mass Planner etc. I personally will never give up that kind of control to any program that has access to my password. I have heard horror stories of people getting their accounts hacked and Instagram definitely does not have a speedy support staff that gets back to……I also really want to have true engagement with everyone so if it means I have to put the painstaking hours into it, I’ve never shied away from a challenge. It has been such an interesting experience though! I started all of this by blogging first and social media outlets second. There are so many people that started with Instagram first and built up followers there before starting their blogs. I don’t think there is a right or wrong way to doing things. I love that I’ve had this space for years. Plus, the relationships and experiences it has allowed me to have. I think there is a place for everything. Here I can chat about life and the day to day happenings. Instagram I can share my favorite fashion looks or travel pics. In all honesty, it is easier to craft one picture and caption as opposed to all the work a blog post takes for this Type A chic over here to write. I plan on for the New Year getting back to my roots here and expanding my reach with Instagram
I wanted to share and round up some of my favorite current looks from my Instagram feed. With the new algorithms, sometimes I don’t get to see some of the looks by my favorite bloggers. These are some of my favorites from you too! That red ruffle top and pleated midi skirt are adorableeeeeeeee. I also gave up Mass Planner for the same reasons you never started and I’m glad I did.
Loving these looks so much. I need a pair of black boots as the ones I have are falling apart and I have had them for 10 years. Your Instagram feed is one of my favorites – so colorful and crisp! I’m trying to up my game in that department, too, but it definitely takes time. I absolutely love that red sweater – I’m disappointed I haven’t been able to find it in a small!
I love how colorful your feed is! So many people just try to make it as bright and white as possible and I find that boring (which is why mine is also full of color). That fringe bikini is seriously adorable too!
Still obsessing over that red cascading top – gorgeous! I’m beyond over the Instagram algorithm, and am patiently waiting for them to listen to everyone and at least give us the option to view our feeds in chronological order *sigh*. Awesome round up gurlie <3

Totally agree that it’s fun to have a blog for more intimate posts, and an instagram account for quick snapshots into daily life! Insta is definitely my favorite social media platform, and I always love seeing what you’ve posted.
