Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather has been absolutely stunning down in Florida that I have not wanted to be inside one second, I need outdoor wifi at all times. I am so excited for this post today because I was able to work with one of my favorite retailers, Zappos. I wrote a post last year about how I find it crazy that Women only get one day of recognition every year. Honestly, I feel like, with everything we do on a daily basis, we need to take the time to acknowledge one another as much as we can. That is why I am so happy to be able to collaborate again with Keds. Keds has been putting women first since 1916 (did you know they have been around for that long!??!?). I find this really cool. Keds is teaming up with Create & Cultivate to create and empower their 100 list, honoring the top 100 ladies across 10 categories that are leading the way. There are a lot of bloggers on the list as well. You know I am all about the strong females leading the way in business, arts, and overall pushing the envelope further.
The Keds Spring line is absolutely adorable. I picked up this classic pair in leather with the white trim. I immediately wore them all day to Universal where we walked miles around the park. They are super comfy which I completely expected with the brand. They are completely on trend and allow me to tackle all of my jobs in comfort and style.
I always look forward being able to work with Zappos. I have never spoken to anyone who has a negative thing to say about the company. The have the best customer service. If something is not right from the first time, they will more than make up for it. They have the fastest shipping and returns. There have been so many times that I have ordered with them at the very last minute for a trip or special occasion and they have never let me down. I’ve even ordered things to where I am staying on vacation if I have forgotten something.
I listened to a podcast with the owner and it was very interesting. He only has a handful of shoes and the entire backbone of his company is based solely on customer service. Between their amazing customer service and the insanely fast shipping, I always look to them first when I am buying anything online. Also, did you know they have a 365-day return policy? It’s pretty impressive.
So today I take the time to applaud all the successful women in my life starting with my mother who is my mentor, therapist, teacher, biggest supporter, and confidant. I got to see my parents this weekend for brunch and a quick check in. I am very luck to have them live so close. Naturally, I wore my new Keds to brunch and then caught up on all my errands. I am so fortunate to be able to work with brands that I completely support and believe in. Take the time to give yourself the praise that you deserve and reach out to a woman in your life that has made an impact on you. LOVE that skirt!! I also was a little on the fence about those patchwork jeans but those are really cute! Those sneakers are also almost a dupe of the Cole Haan ones that I’ve got my eye on.
