Happy Friday dolls. I honestly cannot believe it is August already. Time is moving just a little too fast and I feel like I’m never going to get it all done before my due date in December. I know it seems so far away but I feel like I blinked and the Summer is already over. I have all this energy during the day but the minute I get home from work or a workout and I sit on the couch…….the wave of exhaustion kicks in and I’m down and out by 9 pm. Not super conducive to getting any other work done. Yesterday I went on yet another round of daycare tours. I swear getting into infant care is harder than getting in college around here. The waitlists are crazy or they won’t even open up the waitlist because the entire school is full. Add that one into the list of things to worry about. Anyways, let’s get into some fun things from the week shall we?

This cold should ruffle sweater is finally back in stock and such a great price point, only a few more days left till the Nordstrom sale is over. My sister ordered this scallop hemline sweater and is in love with it. I had to pass due to growing bump status. I did order another one of these in red because it is perfect work attire, so comfortable.
This post made me laugh SO HARD. Seriously, bloggers, we are the WEIRDEST people in the entire world. Is it even weirder that I absolutely adore this little hack and if I didn’t have such high ceilings in my master bedroom I would totally do this as well. Pure genius. Now if only I could make this contraption to take outside and shoot my street style shots for Instagram……my life would be complete. Also loving this post about product and food flatlay background materials.
How to eat a salad every day and like it. I get my lettuce from Costco and it lasts a frightening long amount of time. I get the little Romaine heads and one is two salad servings easily.
I am still fitting into my regular clothes but they are starting to feel tight and uncomfortable. I splurged on one pair of high-end black jeans that are work appropriate. I went through no lie ten pairs until I found the princess and the pea pair here (the under the belly pair). I go to a lot of different offices and I pretty much try to get away with wearing them twice a week. They are so comfy, do not bag out, and are super flattering. I also grabbed a few v neck Madewell whisper t-shirts. I order them up a size so they are comfy and I can side knot them.
Is anyone signed up for the daily burn? I am trying to get to barre at least three times a week but I’m trying to supplement with at home workouts. I’m intrigued and would like to hear your thoughts if you’ve used it before.
Thank you all for your gray paint color suggestions from my Instagram stories. My entire Pinterest feed is all paint color posts now…….seriously why is it so hard???? Also, why does every gray look purple to me? Thanks for the Benjamin Moore suggestions, definitely the truest grays I’ve seen so far! Speaking of painting, this is a great read about how to paint laminate/IKEA furniture. Such a great hack.

I just laughed so hard at the post where she’s setting up the top down camera, but it is so genius! I need to save an Amazon box! Maternity jeans are SO hard to find, glad you found a pair!! Did you get a belly band yet? They are great for so many things, like keeping those pre-baby pants working longer and layering under shirts that get too short. Target always has them in store! Can’t wait to see what gray you go with! I am all about the gray’s and just painted out second house in a row entirely in BM grays ;)
Waitlists for daycare?! Oh noooooo….we’re not preggo yet, but talk is on the table, and I so don’t want to know this! LOL

I have never heard of The Daily Burn but I went to the site and am super intrigued as well. I do all my workouts from home since we live so far out from anywhere and my only work out time is at 4am before anyone else is awake so I am constantly looking for the best at home stuff. I do a lot of popsugar workouts but I like to switch things up. If you try it, let me know your thoughts!! Heck, since it is free for 30 days I might try it too! I managed to only order the Zella leggings during the Nsale. I am still in a weird place with sizes and didn’t want to invest in anything else until I shed the last few pounds of baby weight. Maternity pants are the BEST!!! It is going to suck to wear real pants again this fall. Hope you have a great weekend!

The daycare sitch is similar here, they say call the daycare before you call your parents to tell them you are pregnant! Hope you get the perfect place for your little nugget! Have a fantastic weekend!
Sherwin Williams Light French Gray is the best gray ever…it was a limited edition line a while back, but they can still pull it up in the computer. Don’t fall for the Behr (or other paint line) light french gray, it’s not the same!!
Ugh. Purple grays are SO FRUSTRATING. We actually had our guest bedrooms painted gray… and as soon it was done, I walked in and they looked SO PURPLE. Soon… basically every room in our house is blue. Because I couldn’t get the grays right. SIGH.
