Velvet is such a tricky trend to pull off in my opinion but if you find those certain pops of it for your wardrobe it really is such a great holiday and cold weather piece. I am NOT about crushed velvet, it is not going to happen in my book. I am also very excited that velvet booties are back this year because I really wanted to get a pair of blue ones (Target has a great option and under $40 here) last year but never pulled the trigger. Here are some of my favorite velvet finds for this upcoming holiday season.
This gorgeous neckline top is so pretty and under $25. This cold shoulder dress is a total splurge but isn’t it stunning?? I cannot tell you if these open-toe booties are comfy or not but they are $16 and I LOVE the color and shape of the heel. How darling are the buttons up the back of this dress right? I adore these neutral velvet loafers from Free People. The velvet bell sleeves on this top are adorable and it’s under $28. I got this velvet bag from Rebecca Minkoff last season, check it here in the pink on major sale. Side note, Nordstrom Rack has great RM bags on sale. This skirt is adorable and under $20. How pretty is this pleated skirt and it’s under $23! MISA has so many great velvet options, I am obsessed with the burgundy deep V front dress. I just ordered this top with the velvet tie sleeves.
There you have it! Some velvet pieces that have currently caught my eye. Is this something you are on board with or are totally not down with? Let me know!
