For all the time I have been blogging; I am never really short of ideas. What ends up happening the most is there just isn’t enough hours in the day to get it all done. When I write blog posts, I need a quiet environment. If the tv is on, music or too much background distraction, I can’t generate my internal dialogue needed to write an engaging post. I’ve been told that my writing feels like I’m having a conversation with you, or for those that know me in real life….like I’m directly talking to you with an occasion...

Okay before we get started, let’s just put it out there. People get oddly crazy about this subject of blogger vs switching to WordPress. This is not a who is better post, one is superior than the other etc etc. I’m going to tell you why I switched. I’m not attacking your platform or your blog, just simply giving my opinion of why the switch worked for me. Good? Housekeeping out of the way. Let’s get into it then. Also, I’ve had a lot of recent emails from people asking about starting blogs. Here is my one piece of...
The Spring months in Florida are some of the most beautiful weather months here. I mean that is why everyone flocks down here for their allotted vacation/break time. The weather is warming up and the humidity is kept at bay. The sun is almost always shining, the skies are blue and there is minimal rain. All you want to do is be outside every second you get. I thought I would share a few fun things to do for locals and for those who are thinking of traveling down here! Local Living in St. Petersburg, FL The Outdoor Markets...
No this is not a blog anniversary post, this is a I can’t believe it has been exactly a year from our Wedding Anniversary Post. This year has absolutely flown by! I have friends who are now engaged and I just want to tell them to enjoy this time because that engagement period is over in a blink of an eye. I know it really sounds cliche about finding your best friend but I truly believe that I have. I enjoy spending every free second of time with Mark and we have such a healthy relationship. Who would have...
Happy Monday! I am a little tired today being up watching that game. Now I love football, I get a little depressed when the season is over. I’m not a huge basketball fan, just have to tide myself over with hockey in the meantime. I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Linking up with B. I have been on a mission to find fun local places and highlight them on the blog, so naturally I pick all the brains of the fabulous local barre gals. Lori me about The Wooden Rooster which is a fabulous crepe place right by...
Happy Friday my loves. I don’t know about you but I’ve been counting down the days until this weekend. I feel like the month of January was such a lull of a month. The letdown from the holidays being over and all my projects were all done. February is coming at me full steam ahead with tons of projects, lots of blog post ideas and I just feel refreshed. Naturally I’m looking at blog updates, I get bored so quickly. I have to tell myself to not play with coding at 2 in the morning, it never works out...
Happy Monday. As my mother always reminds me, a night out is a day in. What do you say to a day out? Pretty much the whole day in. Another Gasparilla in the books. We had the most beautiful weather here in Florida this weekend. Sunny in the 70s with no humidity, it was perfection. Recapping with Biana. Friday night I came home to the most beautiful flowers from Roseshire. I’m actually not a roses type of gal, I prefer stargazing lilies but these were absolutely stunning. I’ve never had flowers shipped individually with each stem in water vials....
Happy Friday my loves! Can you believe it’s the end of January? I’m looking forward to February since it will be our one year anniversary and we are celebrating with a fab trip! This weekend is Gasparilla in Tampa. Have you heard of it? Basically it is a huge pirate parade with hundreds of thousands of people come into town. The streets shut down, everyone dresses up like pirates and it’s a huge party. It’s a fun local tradition that has been going on since the early 1900’s isn’t that crazy? You will most definitely want to follow me...
