Happy Monday.  As my mother always reminds me, a night out is a day in.  What do you say to a day out?  Pretty much the whole day in. Another Gasparilla in the books.  We had the most beautiful weather here in Florida this weekend.  Sunny in the 70s with no humidity, it was perfection.  Recapping with Biana.

Friday night I came home to the most beautiful flowers from Roseshire.  I’m actually not a roses type of gal, I prefer stargazing lilies but these were absolutely stunning.  I’ve never had flowers shipped individually with each stem in water vials.  I have been practicing working with that aperture.Flowers and Loubs

Saturday we were up bright and early to celebrate that Pirate invasion.  If you saw from my Friday post, Gasparilla was this weekend in Tampa.  Basically it is like Mardi Gras but pirate themed.  We headed to my girlfriend Kellys house for some breakfast and then over to the parade route.

We had a great time and headed to Kona Grill for some late night eats.

Sunday was spent recovering catching up on work, grading papers and getting ahead for the work week.  I also checked out some local spots.  Black Crow Coffee in St. Pete is such a fun new spot with great coffee and wifi.  Perfect place to catch up on all that work! Definitely check it out to my local peeps.IMG_1478Black Crow Coffee St PeteBlack Crow InsideBlack crowBlack Crow chairBlack Crow Coffee

I am so excited for the month of February.  Not only is it such a romantic month but it’s now my Anniversary month!  Heading to San Fran/Napa for the actual weekend.  I cannot wait!  I hope everyone had a fab weekend.

Gasparilla was a blast! We ended up at a friend’s parents house, on Bayshore so we could see the whole parade from the balcony. If was ah-mazing. I love Kona Grill’s Happy Hour (ooooh, maybe this should be our blogger meetup space). I’m not a huge rose fan either, but they are pretty!
