Happy Monday!  For some reason I can’t write that without thinking of a little song in my head…”It’s Monday Monday Monnnnnday!!!”  I know I’m weird.  What were you up to this weekend?  This was the first time in I can’t even remember how long I had literally no plans.  Like I laid out by the pool and didn’t stress about the things I should be doing.  Can you remember the last time that happened?  Oh so you’re saying that’s how life should be?? I guess I just finally let myself relax and I did some mental recharging.

Unfortunately the girls beach weekend had to be rescheduled but there was plenty of opportunities for getting some Vitamin D.

I had to get my oil changed, I knew it was on the horizon but my car dinged at me telling me it was time.  So I made an appointment and then set to google to see if I could find any coupons well wouldn’t you know I found one.  I was fully expecting the dealership to tell my my car was excluded for whatever fine print BS they like to pull like my car was too new or only from the years 2010-2011 were including or something to that effect.  So when the guy willingly took the coupon and when I asked him how much that was going to save me and he said about $100 it took everything in me not to do this.

Then that happiness was quickly replaced with slight rage for him not gelling me about it when I made the service appointment in the first place.  Anyways then I felt like I should celebrate that saving of money with a mini shopping spree.  So I did.  Details to come later this week but hint it involves a new lens for my camera (so I can really start using my DSLR) and some online shopping.  I can’t help it!  Ebates was 9% off at Nordstroms that like never happens.  Moving on…..

Friday I managed to pull this outfit together for work.

I got so many compliments it made me wonder what I usually wear on a daily basis for this one to get that much attention.  I realize I did put pants on but really!  Even someone from the next office over came over to tell me I looked “super cute today!”

Friday night we dined at our favorite Thai place that is almost walking distance from Marks place.  The food is delicious.  We just found out they were recently sold but the new owners reassured us they are keeping the same staff and menu.  However they are implementing new Happy Hour specials like the one we stumbled onto Friday night.  All you can drink top shelf alcohol for 3 hours open bar.  Ummmm excuse me??

Since Mark was finishing up his antibiotics we tucked that little nugget of information and tried the other Happy Hour Special.  1/2 off the entire sushi menu.
We wanted to try a bunch to figure out which ones we liked.  We can home and I absolutely felt like this.

Since I went to Marks house after work and forgot to bring sandals to change into…..guess who got to go to Barre rocking this look again (I know it’s an old pic but it just works so perfectly!)
The best part is I had a Starbucks gift card I wanted to use and the one I drove by naturally had no drive through. I walked right in there with my heels clicking away at 9 in the morning with my head held high…..embracing the stripper judgement looks like a champ.

It was worth it to get this Venti dark roast.  I am loving the pink sleeves.  I’ll admit it.  Totally letting myself be influenced by yet again another genius Starbucks marketing campaign.  Don’t they look so pretty though right??
Let’s talk about how happy I was when Mark came home from Costco with these!
Sunday after I taught two Barre classes in a row I met Kelly at her place for some Spritzers (bahahahaha doesn’t that sound so old???) and a little bit more soaking up of the beautiful weather.  How sweet is that wine tumbler?  I kept on thinking the whole time….”why couldn’t I have invented this??”
The rest of Sunday involved catching up with work and trying to map out my posts for this week.  Oh and I made a super cute button for the link up on Friday!  I can’t wait to show y’all this week!  I also eat the last one *insert sad face.

  12. OMG the weather this weekend was so amazing! I loved getting to spend some time at the pool! That’s so awesome you go to use that coupon! I swear any time I have a coupon I never get to use it. Or I forget it… so bad. Um that sushi place has the best happy hour ever. I’m jealous! Glad you had such a great weekend!

  13. It was gorgeous this weekend and I enjoyed some of it. I was so busy though, that Sunday was spent napping after church. Drinking for my bday and a wedding…..woof!

  27. Sounds like an amazing weekend! It was 80 degrees here this weekend which felt amazing! I literally cannot remember the last time air conditioning actually felt good. Anyways, I decided that I’m definitely going to buy one of those *classy* baby pools and park my tush in the backyard the next time it’s that nice out.

    I NEED those wine glasses in my life.

  28. Yes yes yes…. loving the sun an beautiful temps in Atlanta this weekend. I was out in it too… choking on the pollen but still. I love the green skinnies. I need to shed a few more lbs to get mine on again but soon! That ice cream sandwich looks like heaven!

  48. How much are your oil changes that you saved $100?! My mind is blown over that, when I get my oil changed it’s like $45! Sounds like the perfect weekend.. yay for some relaxation and pool time! And I’ve got TJ’s on my to-do list this week to pick up some of those ice cream sandwiches :)
