This was the weekend where I had a plan to get so many things done…..and then I didn’t. I swear the Fall revolves around Football…..great food and adult bevs…….then that productive weekend goes right out the weekend am I right? Linking up with my bestie B for her weekly linkup!
Friday night Mark and I went to check another rehearsal dinner spot. I think this one may be the winner! We really wanted to capture the Florida living, how better to do that than with some waterfront dining.
Saturday was spent shopping with my bridesmaid Kelly…..followed by some football watching. Ughhhhh I am telling you finding a bridesmaid dress is harder than my actual dress! I mean everything she puts on looks fabulous.
I just don’t want the traditional strapless or one shoulder chiffon dresses in whatever varying shade of blush that seems to be the monopoly right now. I have searched Nordstrom daily and nothing is panning out. Keep your fingers crossed something comes along.
Obsessed with this Henri Bendel cuff may be added to my list////dreaming of Jimmy Choo sandals////new YSL foundation and purple mascara////starting to organize and get ready for my move
Seriously these boots y’all moved to the top of my Fall lust list////such gorgeous jewelry I had to walk away and not look back////since nobody felt like helping us at Williams & Sonoma I made our own Nespresso coffee for us…..plus a few other shoppers in the store. I told them I take barista tips.
The rest of the weekend pretty much can be summed up with a food montage.
Florida living////The garlic naan with avocado, Trader Joe’s chicken salad and sriracha////Truffle oil on popcorn////When Mark cooks dinner////Costco cupcakes are now outlawed in my house.
Sunday night was spent catching up and watching that show Utopia. Did anyone else see that?? Definitely a very interesting concept! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Check back this week as I talk about the latest things I’m digging and also share my blogging essentials! xoxoxo
And how great was that Gator game?!!!? Great way to start the season. That Florida sunset is beautiful. Can’t wait to see what you choose for your bridesmaids! And yum with those Costco cupcakes, yes please.
I really am interested in Utopia! I heard advertisements for it on Pandora but can’t watch it in China, obviously. You’ll have to let me know how it goes!
A waterfront rehearsal dinner sounds fab!! I wouldn’t want the typical bridesmaid dress either!
Fall fashion is the best! And Costco cupcakes, cakes, cookies, basically any Costco bakery item can not enter my house without me eating them all!
That place looks perfect for the rehearsal dinner! I’m so shopped out I’m putting myself on a spending freeze!
I love that location for the the Rehearsal Dinner – and you can’t get a better sunset than that!! Also, lobster pizza – well that’s just my favorite!!! So they killed it on saturday, 65-0….can we please have that score this weekend? I think that cuff is just fab as is the YSL foundation which is on my wish list!! Hope you have a great Monday doll!! xo
That rehearsal dinner contender looks gorgeous – amazing sunset and yummy food, what could be better? Also, I now have a pre-7:00 am cupcake craving thanks to that last pic. Happy Monday!
That venue looks amazing! And that food? Yum!
I’m sorry…you had me at lobster pizza. <3
Lobster pizza! Ive never seen such a thing, how was it? Yes we watched Utopia last night too…it was so interesting and it sucked me in, Ill be watching it very week for sure. Good luck on the dress hunt!
What a fun weekend! Hang in there with bridesmaids dress shopping … I’m sure you’ll find “the one” at some point!
I was in Williams-Sonoma over the weekend picking up some gifts for friends and really wanted a Nespresso, but no one was making them here either! Those boots are beautiful!!
OMGGGGG truffle oil!!!! Yum!!! What a fun weekend. Those boots…. yes please! Don’t worry, you’ll find the perfect dress soon!!

the food looks amazing, and that sunset! gorgeous. oh bridesmaids dresses sucked, i didnt even know what colour i wanted, i went with my 3 girls and they basically picked the colour (i okayed it lol) and their own dresses, it was super stressful. everyone is different and i didnt want to force them to wear something they hated!
ohhh all that food YUM! and that sunset is so pretty! i watched the first 15 mins of Utopia but i couldnt handle all the fighting! ah well xo jillian – cornflake dreams
Sounds like a fab weekend! That restaurant is beautiful! So is that lobster (I seriously just wrote out lobstah. haha.) pizza!! Those Jimmy Choo’s are gorgeous, and love the Tory boots. I found my bridesmaid dresses at Bloomingdales. I know that process can be a little frustrating but you’ll find the right dress for your girls. :-)
Looks like you had a great weekend, in my book any weekend that includes a little retail therapy is a good weekend! That rehearsal dinner venue looks absolutely beautiful!
Lobster pizza sounds so good! You did some good eating this weekend! We had our rehearsal dinner on a dock, in December so wasn’t the best weather, but it was really neat to be right there by the water.
That view from the restaurant is breathtaking! Winner winner chicken dinner! And I’m sorry, but lobster pizza???? Gimmee!
Such a gorgeous view, that looks perfect for a rehearsal! You’re pictures always make me miss Tampa and then I get there and can’t stand the heat. haha
GORG rehearsal dinner spot… wow!! And dying for those TB boots… may or may not be obsessed with anything and everything Tory
The view from that restaurant is amazing, great place for your rehearsal dinner. Girl, I think if you and went shopping, we would get in big trouble. That YSL Foundation is AH-MAZING!!! A pair of Jimmy Choos may have went home with me this weekend. I couldn’t resist! Happy Monday!!
OMG that rehearsal dinner spot looks AMAZING. yes yes and yes!
That view is breathtaking. I want one of everything you have pictured from the stores. I love the boots, the bracelet, the makeup….EVERYTHING.Where is that picture taken of the sunset?
Looks like great friends, great food, and a great weekend!

Vodka and Soda
What a pretty view for a rehearsal dinner! Good luck with the bridesmaids dresses!
Lobster pizza?!?!? ohhhhmerrgawdddd! Yes. I also struggled a bit with my bridesmaids dresses since my girls literally ran the full gamut of shapes and sizes, and I personally hate chiffon. I found that Jim Hjelm had some of the best designs, so maybe check him out? That’s who I ended up going with, anyway :)
Looks like a wonderful location for a wedding dinner!! And Yummmmm to all of that food. Haha!
rehearsal dinner location, I mean. Oops!!
Utopia looks interesting enough – I’m going to give it 3 episodes – if it holds my interests – I’ll keep watching!
Football Sundays – YAY!
And, I’m considering ending my Sams Club membership – due to similar issues with cupcakes and cakes and breads – and cheap snacks. SIGHS!
those sunset pictures & that food look amazing! i’m with you on the bridesmaids dresses girlfrand. i do not have ANY look in mind right now.
Ummmm, can I come to your rehearsal dinner just for some lobster pizza? LOL…I let my girls pick out gray dresses from a chain. It isn’t what I wanted to do, but at the time at least NO ONE was into grey the way they are now, so that was at least original, and I let everyone wear their own style for “some” originality…it can be hard to do that. I hope you find something soon!
What a gorgeous location- and that food looks delicious! I had the most difficult time picking bridesmaids dresses (and a color)- I don’t think I decided until like two months before the wedding! And now I want to go shopping– it looks like you had some great finds!
Give me all the lobster pizza. It looks like a perfect rehearsal location!
Loving your rehearsal dinner location! Looks like you had an amazing weekend! I’m adding that henri bendel cuff to my wish-list as well. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the YSL foundation!!

I’ve been eyeballing some boots lately! That sunset is gorgeous!!
I say find your dresses at a department store… a comfy, beautiful one you’ll use again :) Just saying … I’ve seen some UGLY bridesmaids dresses.
Holy shiz, that lobster pizza is insane. What a perfect rehearsal dinner spot! Love the TB boots, but I’m guessing I will not love the price ha. Great weekend, and hope you find your dream bridesmaid dresses soon!
What a great view! Looks like a great rehearsal dinner spot! I hear you on picking out bridesmaids dresses. It was tough for me too and I didn’t end up finding exactly what I was looking for. But my bridesmaids still looked great. Good luck!
I’m in the bridesmaids dress dilemma too! I really don’t want to have my girls spend $200 on a chiffon dress that they will never wear again. Because it is only a bridesmaid dress. I think I may have found some Adrianna Papell dresses I like at Nordstrom but we’ll see!! UGH!
rehearsal dinner place looks so peaceful. i really love places like that.
alll the shopping things, give them to me, esp the boots!
Wow, that rehearsal dinner spot is gorgeous…and lobster pizza? That looks amazing! Kudos on not wanting the same old bridesmaids dresses. I am about to drop $250 on a dress that I am pretty sure I own in almost every color. :)
Oh those boots! And that venue looks so pretty :)
I want all of the foods!!!
…..and the Tory Burch boots.
That sunset picture, I was in love when you shared it on IG! And alllllll that food, YUM. I think I’m still paying for all the cookies I ate this weekend….
Oh my, that sunset! Just beautiful! And the food looks amazing too!!!!!
I LOVE those Jimmy Choo sandals! Love love love! I got that other purple mascara that you talked about maybe a month or two ago. I love it and wear it on the weekends with just my plum eye liner for a casual/quick look.
Did you pick a color for bridesmaid dresses yet? Those boots are to die for. I love/want them! How was the popcorn. I really want to try french fries in truffle oil. XO Happy Monday!
Your rehearsal spot looks fabulous & so does the food! Absolutely love that little cuff & the boots?! Yes please!!
Um, think my heart just skipped a beat for those Jimmy Choo’s. WOW.
OMG, that lobster pizza loooks amazing. And those boots, I die for those boots. Unfortunately I have “beefy” calves and those would never fit me.
Uhm, foot montages are my favorite kind of montages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those Jimmy Choo’s are INSANE! LOVE THEM!
That looks like an awesome rehearsal spot! And loving those boots!

I need lobster pizza in my life!! Oh, and those Tory boots, please! Moving them to the top of my wish list, too — good find!
I’m trying to figure out that rehearsal dinner spot… Chart House?
Love those Tory Burch boots but I always stress about suede with the snow/slush/rain.
Oh my gosh! ALL the foods! Looks so yummy! That rehersal dinner spot looks like a must have! How beautiful!!! I totally agree, bridesmaids dresses were way harder than my dress! Have you checked out Dessy.com?! They have an assortment of brands and styles and then once I found a style I wanted, I just searched for a local location that carried that brand and made sure they had that particular style in stock! :) Good luck!
