Happy Friday! I hope y’all are seeing this since Bloglovin decided to stop updating my feed and clearly don’t like to answer their emails or tweets. I am officially moving over to Feedly. It’s not glamorous but at least I can see everyones current posts. Follow me here on feedly.

My dad is the kindest person in the world. I get so many things from my dad, including our need for OCD organization of things (car keys needing to be put in the exact same spot). He is always the first to say yes to anything his children need (all six of us!). He instilled strong and moral values in me. To this day I owe my strong sense of self and the fact that I have zero debt to my name is attributable to him sitting down with me at 12 years old (when I got my first job) to teach me about credit cards, how to manage money and that saving is first and foremost. I love you dad and can’t wait to see you this weekend! Also, I think I nailed your present just saying……

I heard this on the radio and liked it. Then I watched the video and it’s so unbelievably sweet, I had to share it. Ed Sheeran “Photograph”.
Favorite Recipe
Make the short ribs in the crockpot before you leave for work and when you get home, stuff and enjoy. I got the habanero lime tortillas from Trader Joe’s so good and not that spicy. Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and you are in business. Slow braised short rib tacos full recipe here.
Favorite workout
At home workouts that make you sweat. Yes please.
Favorite Shopping Finds
Seriously how does F21 get away with creating such spot on dupes on things that are current? I’m not complaining by any means! Check these gladiator sandals out. I guarantee these will sell out in a day.
Favorite Funnies
When I’m trying to grade papers, answer emails, do stuff for the blog and someone tries to ask me if I’ll see a late patient.
Whenever I skip a morning workout and I’m all don’t worry I’ll just take my yoga mat outside and get it done
Then after work….it’s pretty much always this feeling
When I come home with leftovers from a fancy drug rep dinner…..steaks and chocolate cakes for all
Finally. When you’re half asleep on the couch Friday night and that one jam comes out that rallies you up again.

Oh man! I totally feel your pain with regard to Bloglovin! They’re the WORST! My feed stopped updating a few months ago randomly and it took me WEEKS to get it resolved. Tweeting at them was the most effective way to get in touch with them. Good luck!

My dad is a physician and I’ve attended my fair share of drug rep dinners and lunches. I had the best steak of my life at one of them…although the topic of bowel movements was not on point!!! Haha

I thank my dad all the time for teaching me how to use credit cards, opening a savings account and investing my money in the right places, seriously dads are so great at this!!
