Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I feel like I got a lot accomplished over the two days. Ranging from getting tons of work done, out and about fun and even heading over to Orlando for the day on Sunday. Even though today is a soggy start to Monday thankfully the hurricane broke up before it made landfall in Florida. Off to work today. Let’s do some recapping with Biana.
Friday we checked out some local spots in St. Pete. Casita Taqueria is a casual Mexican spot with a super chill vibe and really good food.
I loved the inside decor.
The food was excellent.
Pretty decently priced as well. They also have a fabulous outdoor space.
St. Pete in the past few years have really lead the way with craft breweries. I finally made my way to 3 Daughters. The inside space has bar seating and a large table where there was a group playing Cards Against Humanity.
Outside is the brewery which isn’t air conditioned but has a large space with tons of games and live music. There were also food trucks outside with outdoor seating. We were very engaged into a long game of Jenga inside. Would definitely head there again.
Saturday was up early with barre class and then anchored down for work. Sunday we headed over to Orlando for some shopping and to grab dinner. We made it back right before the rains headed in!
Another exciting part of the weekend. Did you know Sephora is having a huge sale right now and it’s really good? I picked up this St. Tropez tanning kit for half off because you know that Summer bronze will be gone sooner than you know it. It is a cult classic for a reason. Plus, it comes with the bronzing mit. Sold! Scoop that up before it sells out. If you travel or need makeup on the go, this BareMinerals kit needs to be in your bag. It is compact and everything you need, plus it’s an incredible price on sale. I have these airbrush makeup brushes and they are the real deal. One of them is basically the cost of this kit on sale, such a great deal. Or grab the bronzer brush at at steal. True story, I keep sunscreen on me at all times. This Peter Thomas Roth SPF 50 stick would be such a lifesaver to have in my daytime makeup bag especially living in Florida. You cannot beat the price of this compact LED makeup mirror. Perfect for that quick lipstick check and fix. The coveted Bombshell curling wand is also part of the Sephora sale.
This item isn’t on sale but have you tried the newest Glamglow mask? The Flashmud Brightening treatment is the real deal. You have to use it for 3 days in a row, then I swear it has blown any paid facial out of the water. I am in love. My skin can get uneven hyper pigmentation color patches and this does such a stellar job of brightening/lightening. Throughly impressed. I did some snaps (@meetatthebarre) before and after if you caught it this weekend. Also, the best part of ordering online with Sephora hello samples and coupon codes. I always read the reviews of the samples and pick the most bang for your buck sample. I went with the CONCEAL, can’t wait to try it out!I hope you had a fabulous weekend! You visit so many fun restaurants! We love going to St. Pete for date night or dinner and drinks with friends. We have a couple favorites but have been wanting to find some new spots. This taco place sounds awesome!

I’m skeptical of ALL Mexican food outside of Texas or SoCal, but that place looks so fun I’d give it a try! And how I wish we had more craft brews here. It seems like Texas is cool with their Bud Light and their Shiner and don’t branch out more than that. Oh well. And hey girl, HEYYYYYYYYYY, do you see that Tart is on the tea tree oil bandwagon (they’ve labeled it in tea tree’s other, fancier name and likely charge 3x what it should cost – that *should* be no more than $13) Yay for mainstream brands realizing how fantastic essential oils are for the skin, right?!

Sounds like a fab weekend to me!! Clearly I should have waited until this week to go Sephora instead of last week. Oh well I had to work haha. And can I ask why can’t you use your beauty insider points towards purchases? They are only good to receive a free gift. I find that annoying. If I’m missing something, please explain lol. Anyway!! St Tropez is the only selfless tanner I will use since trying it. Simply the best!
I LOVE the Sephora sale! I need to go to it and order today. I know some people are on the fence with Glam Glow, but I really loved every product of theirs that I have tried!
Yay for the tropical storm losing strength, but we still got tons of rain *ugh*. And you should have said you were coming up our way to Orlando yesterday, would have been fun to meet for a beverage (or two.. or three)!

Any place with tacos and I’m in. We recently tried a local Cleveland placed called Barrio Tacos and it’s freaking amazing. Though one taco and I’m sooo full!
