Clinique Wink Program

Lately I have been trying to be inspired by my local surroundings.  If you remember from my weekend posts, I have been snapping lots of local wall art and murals.  Also, trying to scour Pinterest and Instagram for beautiful and thought provoking pieces.  Speaking of finding inspiration, I have teamed back up with Clinique again.  Did you know Clinique has launched a new online editorial hub called the Wink?  Definitely a site you can get lost in between the travel, beauty and workout posts.  I loved reading about what model Hannah Bronfman keeps in her workout bag.  Also, helpful tips on how to to keep that Summer glow year round and 3 steps to clear pores, hint don’t pick!  The site is beautiful and easy to navigate.  Another great read was spending 24 hours with Grace Lam in Hong Kong.

Finally.  Someone has explained strobing to me in terms that I can understand in an easy to follow tutorial here.Clinique Strobbing

If you follow along with me on snapchat (@meetatthebarre) you saw my makeup review on the new Clinique chubby lash mascara.  I have been using it non stop since receiving it.  The wand is twice the size of my beloved YSL babydoll lash.  It has that same rigid construction and fine tooth brush that really allows you to get into those baby fine lashes.  Most mascaras give you the length and drama on your end longer lashes but with this brush your entire lash bed is lengthened and dramatically darker.  I will say, it took me a few times of using to get the hang of it.  Since the brush is so large, it was a tad bit messier, especially on the bottom lashes.  However, after I played around with it, the length and drama payoff was worth it.  It wears well with minimal flaking and comes off easily with my regular nightly routine.  Highly recommend you scoop it up to add to your mascara arsenal.

Did you know that Clinique has this new editorial hub?  Check it out and let me know what you think! What articles were you intrigued by?  Was it the traveling, fitness or beauty links?  I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!  xoxoxo

Oh I need to learn more about this strobing technique. I was never very good with contouring, so maybe I’ll actually get this one figured out, hahaha!

I’ve only used Clinique for skin care, never make-up. So, I have two things to check out now: make-up and The Wink! Thanks! xo, Champagne&Suburbs
