Things I’m Digging Lately – Personal Microderm PMD Giveaway

I wanted to check in with y’all with one of my favorite new products on the radar.  I had heard about the at home PMD Personal Microderm from one of my barre gals.  It was part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and she told me I had to scoop it up.  I have been getting facials once a month and it included a microdermabrasion portion.  I loved the way my skin looked afterwards but did not love the price tag.

When I received my at home PMD and started to use it, I was beyond pumped.  It is seriously the exact same tool that my esthetician was using on me, for a way more budget friendly price tag.  It comes with different microderm discs ranging from sensitive skin to full throttle.  I have been using the sensitive skin discs and have had no problems with it.  I have extremely sensitive skin and it has not caused any irritations.  It also came with body discs to use for your elbows, feet, you know all those areas that need a good buff.PMD kit

You put a disc on, replace the cap, and plug the machine in.  Pull your skin tight and run the PMD over it.  Make sure you skin is clean and dry.  I waited 10 minutes after washing to make sure it was fully dry.  It makes a little vacuum suction as the disc sloughs off that top layer.  It has a suction that does the clean up work of the disc.  Make sure to not run over one spot more than twice.  When you are done, use a mild toner to neutralize the pH balance of your skin after.  Follow it with a moisturizer, I used a very gentle one.  Make sure to wait at least a week before your next treatment.  Then bask in your beautiful at home salon quality facial at a fraction of the cost.

I was blown away.  I was hesitant to run it over any breakouts but it helped them clear up so quickly.  With the colder months coming up, dry skin is such a problem.  I know my foundation always seems to stick to those dry patches.  Well, use this and your foundation just glides on.  I’ve noticed the tiny fine lines in my forehead going away.  Seriously, a little at home houdini miracle worker for the cost of one facial.  It has won every new product award that is out there for a reason.PMD
