Who is ready for the weekend? I know it’s only Wednesday but I am just over this work week already. I swear I shouldn’t grade papers after 5pm. I’m already in a spent mood by then and when I start reading formal papers that have sentences that start with because as well as and, I start getting raged. Anyways, lets talk about something more lively. My favorite Fall trend. Over the knee boots. Once I finally made the plunge with this pair by Sole Society, I can’t get enough of them.

How to style them for when the temps cool down you ask? You can pull them up over skinny jeans (on major sale!) or transition your dresses with thick tights.

My ultimate lust pair is the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots, I did find them on major sale here and here more sizes here. I have my fingers crossed that over the holidays I can finally snap them up. Until then, this pair is a great dupe for the fraction of the price under $200 here and under $50 here here and here. Great waterproof pair here. I love this grey pair of sale.

I’m a huge fan of over the knee boots! Two probs though: It’s rarely ever cold enough for that here and I have yet to find a pair that actually comes over my knee! It hits just below. Or the stripper tall pairs that hit my bottom thigh, and those aren’t comfy. The struggle of long legs and tall-ness is real. Wahhhh!! :)

Love this outfit and your boots!! I have a pair of Michael Kors over-the-knee boots that I have had for 4 years. They look just like those Stuart Weitzman boots with the leather in the front and the fabric on the back. Except they were a lot cheaper haha. They are my absolute favorite though. I like to wear mine with leggings and longer sweaters, skinny jeans, sweater dresses, and pencil skirts. With tights of course. They are just all around fabulous and super comfy. Plus having your leg covered in the winter here is a must!! :-)
I love my 5050s, I think they look amazing pulled over a pair of skinny jeans. I’ve had my one pair for four years now and they’re still in really good condition even though I wear them all fall and winter long. You do need to snatch up a pair this winter!

I love my over the knee boots! Dolce Vita Ohana, I got them for the Nordstrom anniversary sale! I love wearing them with skinny jeans and long sleeved dresses. The only thing on my shopping list right now is a tire as I had a flat this morning. Not what the budget needs this time of year! Happy Humpday!

Love those boots! Such a rich color and versatile with so many different outfits. I love when my boots have a little heel to them because who doesn’t like a heel?! Loving that shift dress you linked, I bought 2 of them and their soo soft and comfy!
