I never really loved Valentine’s Day in the past. I was single for a long time and even when I was in a relationship, it always felt like an excuse for restaurants to jack up their rates and inevitably the service was bad due to the influx of people going out. However, now I love the month of February since it is our Wedding anniversary month. We are coming up on one year, can you believe that? I feel like I was just picking out bridesmaids dresses and now we booked our quick weekend away to celebrate our one year. Our bigger trip is planned for the Summer but we are officially going to San Francisco and Napa for our actual one year. I will take all suggestions please!
Red is my favorite power color. Something about a bold lip color to go along with that pop of red. Therefore, this is definitely a great excuse to break out that favorite dress or top for the occasion even if that occasion is drinking wine at home in your best pair of stretch pants right?
This is my favorite dress because it looks super high end and it was totally affordable. I am going to bring it to San Fran with me but definitely will be pair it with tights and a coat since the weather is going to be cold!

Ohhh what a fun trip you guys have planned!!! I love that red dress, so pretty with the lace! And those shoes are pretty darn cute too and so versatile! I am not the biggest fan of Valentine’s Day but we got engaged on February 19th so I do like to think of that as a reason to celebrate. I always make homemade lasagna for vday and we stay in.

That dress is perfection! I love lace dresses and in red, it’s show stopping. I liked Napa, but we loved Sonoma better actually. If you have time to venture there do it. The downtown is so cute and quaint. And while in Napa go to the Oxbow Public Market. It has some restaurants, little merchants, and an amazing cupcake shop. So good!
