It’s that time of year when your entire Instagram feed is a homage to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I remember back in the OG days I would wake up at 2 in the morning, pouring over the site to perfectly curate shopping guides. Now, it is beyond saturated. Everyone is sick of it before they can even shop it and everything you want is already sold out. Here’s a secret, a lot of brands send bloggers the pieces weeks before the sale even goes live so they have a chance to photograph it. I remember last year I spent all this time shooting the looks and then when it actually came time for cardholders to shop, they were sold out. This year, Nordstrom released the entire sale online so everyone can see what was available and then made different shopping weeks that needed an instruction manual to remember. All I know is that I have a Nordstrom card, so I can shop today. The white Leith dress that every blogger had in their feed that I knew probably wouldn’t look good on my post-baby body is already sold out so I won’t be tempted. Here is what is actually in my cart.
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Set. Ugh, I was totally influenced to buy this lipstick full price and I think it lives up to the hype. It is so universally flattering and looks good with every color scheme. The three-piece set is such a great value and guaranteed to sell out the first day.
The Diptyque Candle Sets. I usually buy a set of these and break them up for teachers’ gifts etc throughout the year. One of those things you don’t like spending money on yourself but will give it in a gift to someone without hesitation.
Donna Karan Deodorant. Everyone talks about how these work so well and worth the splurge. I can’t wait to get this.
These Comfy PJ’s. They look very similar to the Eberjey ones but for 1/3 of the price. The ones I have from Target are stretching out so they are getting replaced.
The Barefoot Dreams Lite Sweater. It is 90 degrees out in FL but the AC is always on full blast. I love the lightened up version of this cardigan. I still have the thicker one I bought years ago and it has held up great.
I’m debating this Cashmere throw on cardigan. It looks super cozy but high maintenance. I hate the dry cleaner but the rose color is so pretty.
Splurge Piece. I love Rails plaid tops. So soft and worth it. When the cooler temps roll around, I live in these. I usually get a medium for a roomier fit.
These puff sweaters are great for work and tucking into skirts.
I wanted white booties last year but didn’t want to spend hundreds. This is a great price point to spend on a trendy piece.
The Spanx Bra-Illelujah bras. I honestly live in these. I have them in every color. After breastfeeding I cannot stand underwire bras. It’s pretty rare they go on sale. I stocked up again.
This suede mini skirt is a good price point and would look adorable with tights and booties.
These Longchamp expandable bags are amazing for travel (whenever that starts happening). You know how all your stuff just expands when you travel? These are the best carry on bags.
I have these Quay sunglasses. They are super easy to throw on, lightweight, and can’t beat $35.
Honorable mention to the Spanx faux leather leggings. I have had my pair for years and they still look great. They will sell out very quickly.
These sneaks are pretty adorable and a good price point.
If you are in the market for a convertible car seat, the Nuna RAVA is super highly rated. I also have a Stokke Tipp chair and it is so worth it. They NEVER go on sale.
I don’t have a little girl but if I did, I would get these leopard Hunter boots in a heartbeat. I did get Patrick a few of the Vineyard Vines polos.
Last, these aren’t part of the sale but I added in this four-pack of masks because they are adorable and I am getting totally skeeved out by surgical masks and what I’m breathing in all day long.
There are my picks! Tell me what is on your radar and if you are shopping the sale this year.

I have that barefoot dreams cardigan and jammies on my wishlist. I had those white sneakers in the leopard print on my list too, but they sold out in my size. I like that color too but after I saw the leopard, I don’t know. Ahhh. I hope this stuff restocks in an hour when it opens for us! I love the DK deodorant, one of the only ones that works for me. Happy Shopping!

I got that skirt, hope it fits! Everything else was boring bras and undies!
