Happy Friday y’all.  I am so excited for this weekend! I can honestly say I felt like this week flew by and I am really looking forward to getting some workouts in this weekend and catching up on work.  Let’s get into some of my favorites from this week shall we?

Favorite Song
“Nothing Inside” by Sander Van Doorn & Mayaeni.  I heard this song on BPM the other day.  I just about played this every time I taught spin.  It has the best climbing beat and then when the tempo starts picking up it’s time to sprint it out.  She has the most amazing voice.  I almost thought it was Adele the first time I heard it.  I hope you dig it.  This is seriously one of my favorites.

Favorite Recipe
I end up making some sort of an Asian or Thai recipe at least once a week in our household.  One because it’s easy and two because I love going to the Asian Grocery store and buying tons of sauces and noodles.  I will definitely chronicle an outing of the adventures of Mark and Amanda in an Asian grocery store and how we easily blend in and don’t get lots of stares.  This recipe is a staple (please pin from the original source!).  I end up throwing random sauces on it that I can’t pronounce to change it up.  Brown rice for me and Jasmine for Mark.

Favorite Workout
This link will lead you to 7 exercises many of them direct from Pure Barre and other Barre method classes. Check them out.  Remember Barre is about very small moments.  Allows you to really focus on the areas you are trying to target.

Favorite Epic Discovery
All my amazon prime members out there.  I mean not only do we love the free 2 day shipping but did you know about all the live streaming of movies and tv shows?  I have an apple tv that I never use but with prime you can stream free movies and shows from your computer onto your tv?  I watched the Bling Ring, Flight, and my favorite…..there goes two hours of my life.

This was pretty epic….I may be late to this party but I feel like now I am never going to leave my house!

Favorite Funnies
Tell me I am not the only one who does this please.  I often will do this if I feel like an outfit didn’t get a good enough “outing”.

I’m not going to lie.  I get way too exciting when I see that red notification tab on my Pinterest when I log on.

I mean technically it’s almost basically true.

When I look at any of the packages at Trader Joe’s now.  I am onto to you Trader Joe.

When I think I’ve told an epically funny story to Mark and he just stares at me shaking his head.

We went to a charity dinner last night that started at 5:45….I didn’t know that was just the schmoozing hour. The whole time I was like this in my head.
(via tumblr)
After paying for the donation for dinner…..shortly thereafter I discovered there was a cash bar.
(via tumblr)
That split second delay in your head before you answer when someone asks you if you have plans already for a specific day.
(via tumblr)
My reaction when I learned Mark purposely and strategically smooths out the top of his ice cream pint to be able to see if I eat any while he was gone.

Finally.  Lesson of the week.  Even if you fall down get right back up and keep dancing like nobody even noticed.

I hope you have a great weekend!!!  What are your plans??  Did you see my sweet giveaway from yesterday??  xoxoxo

  7. March 28, 2014 / 12:32 PM

i stared at that falling down gif way longer than i care to admit. and when i arrive at a restaurant for dinner and no one is looking at the menu and talking? i legit say: everyone stop talking so we can figure out what to order when the server comes and we can start eating. not even sorry.

Oh, my gosh that last GIF made me jump out of my chair and laugh hysterically. That would have absolutely happened to me! Also..the smoothing out his ice cream pint cracks me up!! It’s embarrassing how many stories I tell that my husband responds with the blank stare. There I am, having to catch my breath because I’m laughing so hard TELLING the story–and he just blinks at me. WTF! I AM HILARIOUS! Okay, no. I’m not. BUT HUMOR ME!

  9. March 28, 2014 / 1:03 PM

haha- The split second thought when someone asks me if I have plans for a specific day. I can’t wait until, “Yes, a workout, netflix and early sleep” is an acceptable answer because 90% of the time that’s my plans. Happy Friday!

  10. March 28, 2014 / 1:25 PM

Oh my gosh, those gifs and someecards are hilarious as always! I watched the last one like 4x! haha I want to get apple TV just so I can watch my amazon prime on the actual TV and not my computer or ipad! And that first recipe looks amazing!

Haha so much truth, per usual, in the gifs. My husband only recently told me about Prime streaming -thanks for keeping me out of the loop!? #manfail. I think we all have earned our MDs when it comes to vino ;) Have a great weekend! XX

  27. March 28, 2014 / 5:28 PM

I need to start keeping a list of my responses to you as I read because at the end I’ll get to something like Mark’s ice cream smoothing and everything else just flies out of my head!

HAHAHA! that last gif is hilarious!

  32. March 28, 2014 / 7:25 PM

HAHA the ice cream!! Hilarious!! That sounds like something my fiancee would do! Also, I am SO guilty of wearing the same outfit twice if I feel like I didn’t do anything or see anyone in it the previous day. Usage to the max!! Oh and Trader Joe’s serving sizes?! One package of their veggie chips always means one serving. Haha at least that’s what I tell myself.

  33. March 28, 2014 / 7:26 PM

As always your last gif is having me cracking up at my desk hahaha thats amazing! I’m also dying laughing at how Mark evens out his ice cream so he knows if you’re eating any. I would be in BIG trouble!

Have an amazing weekend girl! Tell the sun hello for me (clouds and rain all weekend for us).

    xx, jen!

  34. March 28, 2014 / 7:37 PM

I TOTALLY do that with my outfits, especially going out clothes! I’ll wear something Friday night and then Saturday night if we are going out with different people, most likely I’ll just wear it again! As long as I didn’t take a picture in said clothes on Friday night, HA!

  35. March 28, 2014 / 7:52 PM

Love the pinterest ecard and the clothes. I’m like hmmm haven’t been seen much in this outfit, I’ll wear it again.

    Have a great weekend!

  36. March 28, 2014 / 8:12 PM

Can’t wait to check out those workouts! And I love the funny quotes! Happy Friday!

  37. March 28, 2014 / 8:42 PM

The last gif was hysterical. Literally had tears running down my cheeks and had to try and keep the snorts quiet at work! Love your blog!

  38. March 28, 2014 / 8:49 PM

I definitely rewear an outfit if it didn’t get enough showcasing! If it took me longer to wash/dry/fold/put away something than it did spending time on my body, NOPE.

  39. March 28, 2014 / 10:05 PM

“My reaction when I learned Mark purposely and strategically smooths out the top of his ice cream pint to be able to see if I eat any while he was gone.” BAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAH! I’m dying! That is TOTALLY something I would do to Pete!

  40. March 28, 2014 / 11:00 PM

Your “funnies” always make me so happy. Happy Friday!!!
