I am slowly easing into this work week. Isn’t it incredibly hard to get back into the swing of things after a vacation? Let’s talk about happy thoughts instead, Fall transition pieces on my radar. Fall Transition Pieces
Even though it seems like there is no end in site when it comes to this heat, it hasn’t stopped me from picking up a few great Fall transition pieces. I cannot wait to start incorporating my leather booties and richer colors and prints. Here are a few looks that have been trending on my radar and I have currently been stocking up on.
Open toe booties with stacked heels
Cue the angels singing that thicker stacked heels are back. Klutzy gals like myself are thanking the Shoe Gods. I seriously wear my Vince grey stacked heels with everything. To work, with skirts/dresses, skinny jeans and even walking all over Charleston. They are so comfortable and go with everything. Grab a pair of these open toe booties, you will find a way to wear them with just about everything.
Distressed Jeans
Of all shapes and colors however the washes on the denim are definitely changed up from last season. I am so glad I held onto my favorites flares because they are back in a big way for the Fall.
Plaids
In all forms but dresses are definitely taking the front seat. Loving all these tops.
Give Me All the Fringe!
I seriously wear my Rebecca Minkoff cross body all the time. Obsessed with all these fringe options especially the magenta colors. I am on the hunt for the perfect fringe skirt and booties.
Leather Accents
I am all out the faux leather accents. I just ordered this BB Dakota grey fitted coat and I cannot wait to get it. Plus, tell you don’t feel insanely fierce in a pair of leather leggings. I think a leather bucket bag will also be on my wish list as well.

I was skeptical about hopping on the fringe bandwagon, but I think it’s safe to say that I am digging it now.

I reallllyyyy don’t want summer be over but fall fashion is my favorite! I picked up a leather bucket bag at the Anniversary Sale that I can’t wait to break out and now I need a pair of open toed booties – so cute!
I love all these trends – especially plaid dresses – EXCEPT for flared jeans. Maybe because I know so many people who never stopped wearing them after they were cool in the early 2000’s, but to me, that trend is NOT on point. There hasn’t been enough time passed from the last years that they were en vogue. Nope. Just no. But distressed denim and stacked heels? Heck yes! Looking for maternity stressed denim for this fall for sure!

Fall is my all-time favorite season, fashion wise, but I am not ready to let go of summer!! I pretty much live in booties, plaid and jeans in the fall ;) GREAT options!!

Is there a way that I can keep summer around but still be able to wear some fall clothes? I really wanted to throw on a pair of jeans this morning, but with this heat that isn’t happening anytime soon. I really need to move to San Diego.

LOVING distressed jeans right now. Just got a pair last week! Plaid is so perfect for fall and sadly I own NONE [embarrassing]. I love that B&W plaid dress though, may have to pull the trigger!

I’ve had a pair of ankle wrapped mules, booties, whatever they are called (; for months now and I think I’ve only worn them once. They are so comfy and cute but I find I have a hard time styling them. I’d love to see some inspiration and easy looks for fall.
