Happy Monday! This weekend was jam packed for sure and now back to the routine of the week. The weather has been absolutely beautiful down here in Florida, the humidity has been holding out, so I’ve been taking advantage of it every second that I can. I finally took the plunge and ordered a new camera and lens that I’ve been eyeing for quite some time. Canon was having a rebate and I found an open box special on Adorama (not sponsored just the best price I found anywhere). So naturally we spent Saturday morning exploring and playing around with the new beauty. On the way out to lunch we drove by the most fab Alice and Wonderland wall so naturally we had to stop.
This is my most favorite black dress ever by Susana Monaco. It seriously works for anything. Casual weekend wear with flats, dress it up with jewelry for a date, or pair it with black tights for work. I also would throw a denim jacket over it for another look to it. I actually picked it up at the last SHOPBOP sale but then I found it over 50% off after the fact HERE, so definitely scoop it up before the sizes sell out. I have also been looking for a pair of blush/nude wedges and I adore this pair by Restricted Shoes. The price point is very affordable and they make your legs look incredibly long. The rose gold buckle is my favorite part. I highly recommend these for the Spring/Summer. They pretty much go with every single outfit. They run true to size, I’m a 9 and they fit perfectly. Also, rediscovered my favorite mirrored sunnies for the Summer. I just love this hot pink/red shade they come in.

Saturday night was the gala for the local Children’s hospital that I work for. Mark joked and stated that he felt like we were going to the prom and he needed to get me a corsage. Sunday we were up early and getting work done before heading to the Lighting game, which was honestly one of the best games I’ve seen ever. So many goals and there was so much excitement every minute it felt like. Off to the Eastern Conference Finals!
My mother is up with my sister and her kiddos so I didn’t get to see her on Mothers Day but I will get to see her next weekend. I wanted to wish my mother a Happy Mother’s Day. The woman who is my best friend, my role model, my therapist and my sounding board for everything in my life. I love you mom and I can’t wait to see you soon!
