I can’t even tell you the last time I stepped inside of a mall. I do sometimes miss those days when I had the time to go shop and be inspired by all the new fashion in the stores. I used to never buy anything online because I was a big dress for my body type kind of gal. I always wanted to try things on, coordinate accessories to it, and then would come home and give my mother or sister a fashion show. I know I’ve said this in the past but please tell me I’m not the only one who does that? Poor Mark, he gets fashion shows at home all the time with commentary about how I’d wear it. “So this dress I’m thinking about wearing it out to dinner with your parents because it’s long enough, not low cut, and it has long sleeves for cold restaurants”. I’m just a little bit of a planner right?
I have gotten extremely spoiled by all the online shopping especially with my favorite online retailer Zappos. I have worked with them in the past and I am so excited for this collaboration with them. Not only do I get to talk about how much I love them but I also get to highlight one premier retailer with them Lucky Brand. Do you remember Lucky Brand jeans back in the day? They had the button and zipper fly that said “Lucky You” when you would unzip/button them?!?!? They were extremely out of my hair salon receptionist on Saturday mornings for 4 hours High School teenager budget but man I saved up for them and bought them. My mother freaked out the first time she did laundry and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t allowed to wear them. Or change into them at my friend Jen’s house….you know the usual. Lucky Brand has been adding all these playful details and personal touches to their LA based brand since 1990. Zappos hooked me up with two pairs of Lucky Brand shoes for the Fall and I am all kinds of in love with them.
These grey booties go with everything. They are insanely comfortable, have an easy to get into side zipper and look how pretty the back details are. I always travel with a black color scheme and a pair of grey booties because they are so versatile. You can pair them with a dress, skinnies, or wear them right now with shorts and a long sleeve. You will be seeing these on major repeat.
The second pair I wanted to go a little more fun and I choose these burgundy open toed beauties. I find myself reaching for them every second I can. They seriously make every outfit. They are also extremely comfortable and not too high.
My favorite part about working with Zappos is how I can brag about their unparalleled customer service. Well first things first, is their insanely fast shipping and returns. I mean, I swear, there are little shoes eleves living in my bushes. It’s like I order them and the next day that magical box is on the doorstep (or Marks office). Plus, did you know they had a 365 day return policy?!?!? If you ever have a problem or question, there is no long wait and you get someone who lives in this country. They are always so accommodating and quick to remedy any situation. You all know how much I wear these espadrilles. Well, when I first bought them they sold out in one day. When I got them, a teeny tiny part of the espadrille wedge was slightly coming apart. It was not noticeable to anybody except crazy OCD me. I called and the rep was going to send me another pair but of course they were sold out. She immediately credited back my account and then found an old credit that had expired, reinstated it and then applied it to that espadrille purchase. I mean talk about customer service!
I am so exciting to be partnering with a company that I have first hand experience with, use very regularly, and I can stand behind it to you. Shopping at the mall officially stresses me out. I get overwhelmed now, which is so weird. I like the coziness of online shopping. Zappo’s is such a great site and they have the cutest bootie options!

Both of these booties are SO stinkin cute- love the bow detail!! I don’t know if you saw my snap but… I just ordered some booties and Nordstrom just sent me TWO of the right shoe!! How in the world does that happen?? So hopefully the new pair will get here sooner than later- I’m so impatient!

Ohhhh I am loving both pairs of booties you shared! They are so pretty and would match so much! Chris exclusively wears Lucky Brand Jeans because he likes them best, I have a pair myself still! I still like to go to the mall and try on clothes because my body is so weird, but I don’t mind ordering shoes online.

Lucky Brand is one of those brands I will never stop purchasing. Their jeans are everything, I love their shoes! I need to snag a pair of their booties! Probably something a little flatter though, since I tend to have those baby gazelle legs when it comes to anything that’s not flats. (;

The open toe pair would work so well here because of the prolonged heat – I’d be able to wear them through November for sure! And you already know I love the grey pair because I have a similar pair already. The grey goes with EVERYTHING and the wedge makes it easy to wear – even me, who no longer wears heels daily!
