So first things first let me paint the scene for you. Currently, I’m in a hotel room on the East Coast of Florida at a work management conference. It is a three-day conference that goes allllll day. So naturally the multi-tasker in me was all, I’m going to get all my grading done, be ahead for the week with blog posts, and have my Instagram planned for days. WRONG. We couldn’t even have our phones on the table. You mean I can’t check my Instagram all day? I know real life problems right? Then, since my in-laws live on this Coast, I met them for dinner and my mother-in-law who is the sweetest on earth packed me “snacks” for the room. If you know me, you know that I don’t do well with snacks. I have been trying to talk myself out of not eating an entire sleeve of multigrain crackers because I’m not hungry I just enjoy the crunch. I also have access to the executive lounge which is snacks basically 24 hours. So instead of being ahead of the game, I’m writing this at 9pm, chomping on crackers, and drinking peppermint tea. I should have written this when I got home from dinner but I went down the rabbit hole of watching carpool karaoke. I mean honestly, Stephen Curry. Just fast forward to the 6:30-minute mark. I melted. Is he not the cutest ever?!?!?!?! Okay, so back to the subject matter. When I wrote this post on Monday about all the Spring staples, the overwhelming winner was palm prints. I decided to round up some of my favorite picks to share with you.

Now, I know technically these are considered a “banana leaf” print but they are tropical enough right? These swing shorts were available on a bunch of retailers but have currently sold out. These are seriously so comfy and the swing shorts almost look like a skirt but a little more user-friendly. They are high waisted so I paired it with my tie front Club Monaco top. I have also worn them tucked in with this white top. My mules are See by Chloe and from last season. Unfortunately, they have sold out but I’ve found a few great similar options.

Love the palm print stuff and don’t have any so this is perfect for me! They won’t let you have your phones out? Who do they think they are, Pure Barre? Mark’s mom is so sweet! I used to be the same about trying to avoid snacks when I used to travel for work.
