One of My Favorite Workout Lines – Athleta Performance Tights

When I’m not in work clothes, I’m most likely in my barre workout clothes. I have been teaching barre for just over 4 years so I’ve had the opportunity to try out a ton of workout lines. I demand a lot of my barre gear. They have to be comfortable enough to teach multiple classes in, don’t lose their stretch, wick away sweat, and the quality has to hold up. One of my favorites especially when it comes to pants/leggings are Athleta. They have a great price point, the quality holds up over time, and they are some of my go-to favs for all things barre.
These Mesh Shine Salutation leggings with Powervita fabric are so soft! I veered away from my traditional black pants and went with this pretty lilac color. They aren’t too low but not super high waisted, they pretty much hit in the perfect spot. They have just enough stretch but good compression. They do not lose their shape and are super dry wicking. I reach for these now as much as I can. To help accommodate my bump, I just sized up but they run true to size.
I paired them with these two great staple tops. I love the neckline on this one and the fit on this one. I sized up for pregnancy but these also run true to size.
I have been trying to stay fit throughout my pregnancy. My goal has been to take 3 barre classes a week in the studio. I then supplement other days with at home workouts and some walking around my neighborhood. It is definitely getting a little harder to move my bowling ball of a child around but I’m really trying to make a conscious effort to stay in shape with this pregnancy. I know it will help with my delivery, keep this kiddo healthy, and bounce back on the other side. You know half the fun of working out is having cute clothes to go along with it. Not only are these fashionable but they are so functional and will stand the test of time. I demand a lot out of my barre clothes and Athleta always stands up to the test. I also really love the support of this bra and it’s on sale!
I highly recommend you consider these performance tights from Athleta. They are soft, dry wicking and worth every penny. Plus, I love the cuts and innovative design. Make sure to check them out! My first pair of pants for Pure Barre were Athleta and it was because of you! I just moved them to the wear around the house pile and it has been a glorious three years with them! I have a 20% of coupon on my fridge, need to pick these up, love the mesh cut out. You can barely tell you are pregnant, good for you for keeping up with it all during your pregnancy!

Straight A Style
I haven’t gotten to try anything from this brand yet, but they have a store at our mall that I frequent. I will have to check them out since they get your stamp of approval. I like that when I clicked on the bra, it said it was best for A-C cups. Lets me know that one isn’t for me! Most sites don’t give you good info like that. Love those pants you chose! It is so hard to find motivation when you are pregnant sometimes, especially when those feet swell and dont want to fit in your shoes! Or at least that was me. So kudos to you!

Curious how you did in the later part of your pregnancy with Athleta leggings? Did you keep wearing them? I just bought a size up in the Salutation Capri and it fits at 21 weeks. I grew out of my normal size fairly quickly but I normally wear things super tight. I doubt I will get away with wearing them for the rest of pregnancy, but postpartum I think they will be amazing as I transition back into my old size.
