I am back with an actual list of what I have bought and have ready to go for my 8 year old 2nd grade boy. He is really into sports, loves taking pictures/videos, sketching his favorite sports teams logos, and constantly in motion. I’ll make a gift guide for stocking stuffers as well. I really wanted to pick some things that would have staying power and some that are educational/STEM.
First off. The projector sketcher is top of my list. It is currently on sale. Run!! He is constantly pulling up things on his iPad and trying to trace over it. He loves copying sports teams logos and making his own football fields for paper football. You can find it on their own website, Amazon, or Walmart which is the one on sale. Currently on sale and available to ship before Christmas.
He loves filming videos and taking pictures. This retro video camera is on the pricier side but how cool is it???? I have a feeling I will be using it as well.
I gave this air hockey table to him already for his birthday (December birthday) and he literally hugged me and said he was SO PUMPED to have it. He has been playing with his brother every day and it has been a major fan favorite in our house. Best part it is under $30.
I always grab him a Lego for the weekend to cut down on screen time. He loves all the different race car builds. I have stocked on all the Harry Potter options and they are all currently 20% off at Target. I can’t wait for him to build this one. How cool is it??

Okay I am most excited about this. I really want him to start playing music and this syncs with Duolingo to learn to read music as well. I am getting the guitar for my little one. It is currently on flash sale on Amazon.
If you have an elementary school kiddo. I am sure they are completely obsessed with all things Baseball 101. I love picking up the shorts from Dicks because the shipping is super fast.
All the baseball kids love these necklaces. I am getting him the blinged out all blackout one.
My kiddo is absolutely obsessed with TeenyMates. We got him the Advent calendar and he also loves the lockers.
I already gave him this present and he is obsessed. Great way to practice any throwing, hitting, and kicking. It is very sturdy and takes about 20 minutes to assemble. Currently on sale!!!
Honorable mention to these books. Anything to do with sports he will read. So far I’ve been sitting next to him while he reads and they are age appropriate. Also this adorable Polo bear robe. He loves a good robe after a shower.
