Happy Friday! This was such an odd week with the holiday thrown in the middle of it right?  I am looking forward to this weekend.  I need to do some serious cleaning, get in workouts and catch up on sleep!  Here are a few of my favorites from this week.

Favorite Song.  Colby O’Donis-State of Mind.  This song has such a good vibe to it….almost has a trance beginning but then builds into a really fun song when the beat drops.

I love Colby O’Donis.  You may remember him from this no name song right?

In honor of my favorite workout girls and their show that premiered on Bravo last night. Here is my at home workout of the week.  Did you watch it?  I think the two of them are adorable!!!  Since Katrina is getting married she is doing a whole wedding workout series….I’m not going to lie I almost turned it off 2 minutes into it when she said “and bring your hands up into the chapel position” but it was 15 minutes and a good workout!

Recipe Accomplishment of the Week.

I made this recipe this week.  It was amazing!  I did this as a side to a piece of baked piece chicken.  I followed the recipe exactly except substituted whole wheat pasta.  It was amazing check it out and let me know what you think!

Favorite Pins and Musings.

Instead of New Year’s Resolutions I am going to continue to live by these 12 Things Happy People Do Differently. I feel like I do the majority of these but definitely need a refresher and reminder sometimes.  I thought this was an excellent list.  What do you think?

Moving on….This is how I am feeling on a daily basis when someone asks me if we have set a date…….

I should just walk around with this and hand it to them.

Last one.  I think I say this on a daily basis “they can never take away your education”.  I am a firm believer in education over anything.  I talk to my teenage patients every day about what their plans in life are and my first question is about what profession or schooling they want to go into.

Thank you for sticking with me on that random assortment!  What are your plans this weekend do tell!

The groom needs a morning suit? WTF is that? That thing makes my head hurt, too. That’s probably why I bought my wedding dress on craigslist (hello, $300 with alterations) and we got married standing on a beach. You gotta get that leopard/plaid outfit. Love it! My husband would hate it, too.

Loved this post! I love the plaid and leopard but I could never pull that off either! And that recipe looks amazing! Have fun with the planning, it all goes by way too fast!

  4. I’m already loving the Toned Up show on Bravo! And don’t worry yourself too much about the wedding details… They will all fall into place! It is overwhelming in the beginning. Have a fantastic weekend! xoxo, lindsay

  5. Ah I love this roundup! I watched the Toned Up show last night too and I love it! Definitely making me want to get back into the workout routine. Love your blog! Happy New Year!

oh my gosh this post just made my day! I am a HUGE fan of Tone It Up. I bought the nutrition plan awhile back and absolutley LOVE them. I don’t have cable, so I couldn’t watch the show :(. I’m hoping it comes on Hulu or Bravo Tv online soon. Also, Tyler and I still don’t have a finalized date for our wedding, haha! We are pretty sure we know but will be making the final decision this weekend. Is it horrible that I’m not in a super huge rush? I just want to enjoy the stage of being engaged. I don’t want to be overwhelmed or stressed out by it all!
