One of the things I went back and forth throughout the wedding planning was if getting someone to do the Wedding Videography was going to be in the budget. While it can be pricey if you don’t go to the right company, it is probably the best way to capture your big day; even more so than photos I would argue. I had gotten some astronomical starting quotes with cinematography reels with the full-length video. It was something that I had wanted but it just wasn’t working out with the numbers. I had already picked out my photographer and his pictures were just stunning. He had already shot a Powel Crosley Estate wedding so I knew he was familiar with the venue.
When my little sister and bridesmaid Abbey came up for my bridal shower my twin in our sorority had just gotten married and Abbey was raving about her videographer. She showed me his work and I was sending him an email as fast as my hands could type.
I was a little hesitant to share the video just because of the blog/privacy life separation line that we all sometimes walk. Then I watched Ashley’s video and she made a note of her similar views that I had. Being able to see and share in on that incredible day was so special and I was really happy she shared it!
I am so beyond thrilled with our video that I couldn’t not share our videographers beautiful work! Dmitri and his wife were there the entire day with us. They made everyone feel so comfortable and since they are a husband and wife team, they were able to capture everything with Mark and I separately, without missing a thing. If anyone in the Florida area is looking (or perhaps beyond you can always ask!) I would recommend Megaset without hesitation. They were meticulous (you know how Type A/OCD I am) and a pleasure to work with.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! I picked the song before it was being played on the radio and now every time I hear it come on I think of that slow-motion walk out onto the grass with my veil in the wind. Just watch you’ll see! Hiring a videographer was an absolute must for us because still photos (as gorgeous as they are) only tell so much of the story. Being able to hear us recite our vows, friends laughter, funny dance moves at the reception, and hearing voices of loved ones who have since passed on is absolutely priceless. So glad you were able to find the perfect videographer for your big day!!! And I love that we both did the same little move when we were told we could kiss at the ceremony. Too cute!

I didn’t do a wedding video (I actually forbid Kirk from hiring anyone!) but had I had someone do it like THIS, I would have considered it! So beautiful.
Wow, that video is amazing. I think a videographer is a must for a wedding. I convinced a few girls I knew to get one and they told me multiple times how happy they were they listened to me. It’s so fun looking back on the day that goes so fast. That reminds me I need to share my video :)!

I may or may not have totally just teased up in my office!!! Not only was it so sweet and genuine but oh my God Amanda it’s so beautiful! I felt like I was watching a super legit movie! Their quality is stunning. If I ever get married I would find a way to hire a great videographer. Pictures are fabulous but I feel like there are so many parts of your day/evening that may be missed or you forget about and video helps keep it all together. Great choice and thanks for sharing!
