Top Ten Favorite Products Under $10

This post may contain affiliate links. Purchasing through them help support this website.

Checking in with y’all live from my couch right now.  Currently, drinking coffee and thinking that was probably a bad idea at 5pm. Also, thinking about how I am going to get my dark nail polish off with the one stray cotton ball I found abandoned in my bathroom drawer.  Real life stuff over here. Okay seriously, why isn’t it Friday yet?  It totally feels like it should be Friday, am I right?  Anyways, I wanted to chat with you today about my favorite products under 10 bucks.  Some of my ride or die fav products that I use on the reg are super affordable.  Let’s get right into them!

Top Ten Products Under $10 copy

Favorite Products Under 10 dollars

Achieve those no heat curls

No dent hair clipsOkay.  They aren’t glamorous.  You may get some side eyes from your signifiant other, but they work.  At night after my hair is semi air dry, I wrap it on top of my head in a high bun.  Then secure it with one of these 80’s looking hair clips.  They do not leave a dent.  I promise.  In the morning take your hair down and voila.  Perfectly waved hair.  Snag them here on Amazon.

 Use it for every ailment

tea-tree-oilTea Tree OilRemember this gem from my hippie girl product post?  Currently using as an acne fighter.  I just dab it on flare ups and pretty much over night it clears.  I got mine at Trader Joe’s but you can find it on Amazon here as well.

Speaking of Trader Joe’s

Tree Trea Body Wash

This body wash.  Cannot get enough of it.  Pick it up the next time you go.  You won’t regret it.  I just realized the picture is of the shampoo and conditioner…..clearly I was rushed with my stealth mode photo bombing at Traders Joe’s.  I love the body wash in this tea tree oil line.  Haven’t had a chance to try the shampoo and conditioner.  Add it to the list.

NYX Concealer

NYX concealerI personally think this works better than the NARS concealer and it’s a fraction of the price. Apply with this brush from Sephora (I know it’s not under $10!) but it really creates an airbrushed finish. Find it at Ulta or here.

Most Addicting Lip Moisturizer

Dr.Rescue

Have you picked this up yet?  Just a warning.  It is straight up addict forming.  Glides on so smooth and the cooling effect gets me every time.  It is an essential when the weather cools down and the air is dry.  Find it here.

Get Those Tangles Out

The Wet brush

I don’t know how this little houdini brush works but honestly it brushes through my hair like silk after a shower with minimal tugging and hair loss.  Get it, you won’t regret it.  Find it here.

Favorite Drugstore Liquid Eyeliner

Maybelline eye liner

I rediscovered this little gem being suffocated by a few other products and was like, hey I remember this bad boy.  It isn’t the easiest to find sometimes in the Maybelline hanging displays but if you look carefully you will find this diamond in the rough.  Goes on super smooth, doesn’t tug or skip.  Great staying power but washes off with normal face wash.  Total winner.  I wish they made it in more colors.  Find it here.

Spa Experience at Home

zoyaCan I tell you how many times I used to knock over a bottle of nail polish remover. Too many times than I would like to admit.  I have cured that issue now with this gem invention.  Now I feel like I’m at a nail salon with my flip top remover and I keep the contents of the bottle where it should be and not on my bathroom counter.  Find it here on Amazon.

Travel Razor

Travel Razor, favorite products under 10Seriously, this is the best invention ever.  I have one in my workout bag and one in my travel bag.  It already has the conditioning balm on it, just add water.  Life saver when you need a quick touchup. Find it here.

Crystal Nail File

Crystal Nail file

Have you gotten a glass nail file yet?  It doesn’t tear your nails like an embry board does (do people still say that?).  I actually have a travel size one and whenever the rare time I actually have to get a manicure rolls around…..I give them this to use.  I’m sure they just love me but hey it helps protect those nails you’ve been growing up strong!  Find it here.

My list could go on and on, like finding Butter nail polishes at TJMaxx for 2.99 (always scope out the check out aisle).  You don’t have to always pay the crazy high price for a lot of the every day products.  What are some of your favorite products under 10 dollars that you use that are super affordable and you can’t live without?

I remember you texting me about tea tree oil, I need to get some ASAP. my skin is going haywire these days wtf. Also, that glass nail file! I’ve never used one but my current one leaves my nails almost more scratchy than before. Great post lady!

Need that tea tree oil for a friend that just popped up over night lol! Still need to get that fabulous nail file you always race about!

So many good ones! I can just imagine the looks/comments when using the pink 80s clips but totally worth it if your hair looks good the next morning! And I’ve never tried the Baby Lips lip balm but I’m always up for a new chapstick so I’m checking that one out. Thanks for sharing!

A wealth of knowledge you are…always! :) And all of these are on the cheap? Done! I really need to find that tea-tree oil. Ive heard SO many amazing things about it. And it apparently helps protect against the mutant lice that are out this season (insert horrified face here)!

Wow, what great steals. I’d say I’m also loving my Elf Poreless primer [$6} and ELF eye shadow as well. Normally I like things a bit more expensive, they seem to last longer, but these two ELF products are pretty fabulous. Oh, and make up wipes, any brand, are always on hand.

I found that polish remover thanks to your at home mani or pedi post you did and I love it!! I need to try that concealer. Using a Maybelline one and I’m not loving it as much as the Benefit one I love. I keep forgetting to pick up one of those brushes when I’m out and a friend of mine said she likes the dupe better!

Whoa, Trader Joe’s is on board with the tea tree oil! I haven’t been to one of those since I moved to Dallas years and years and years ago because there’s like 2 in all of Dallas, city of 11 million people, so you know what that means: complete chaos. So happy to see they’re making all these products though! And NYX is so friggin pigmented, I bet it’s an amazing concealer! I currently use Benefit and I actually don’t like it – it clumps in the creases. I’m going to give this one a try!

Great list lady!! Funny, I was seriously just thinking about that eyeliner yesterday lol. It’s great and I like using it when I don’t want to wear eyeshadow. Definitely checking out that NYX concealer too!! Thank you so much for sharing!! :-)

Umm, why is it that I can’t leave one of your favorite posts without a huge *to buy* list? I recently purchase tea tree oil after your hippy girl post and this one reminds me that I’m still yet to use it, I think I need to do a bit more research for it’s uses. Also, I’m super excited to try out that concealer, especially because I just realized I actually own that brush you use with it!

All hail the crystal nail file!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought one about a year ago(?) from Ulta and I have been absolutely LOVING it. That’s the best little invention.

Well, I’ll take one of everything please! That travel razor is genius – I wish I had known about that this summer when we were gone every single weekend!! And I’m so intrigued by the crystal nail file.. I’ll have to pick one of those up next time I’m in Sephora!

How did I not know about these hair clips?! I will need to check these out, so good to hear they don’t leave a dent in your hair too! Also, I have the same nail polish remover. Perfect for this clumsy girl! haha

Sounds like I need to go by the beauty section in Trader Joes – those products look great! I recently bought the NYX primer and it’s been great. Half the price of Smashbox and works just as well.

I have and use everything on that list except the polish remover and clips, which just both got put in my never ending Amazon cart!

  20. Erin B says

Is the TJ’s shampoo or body wash?? The pic says shampoo, but you said body wash so now I’m confused LOL

What kind of shampoo do you use?? My hair is super thick and I try and use a sulfur free shampoo, but I haven’t found one that I LOVE. :( Any suggestions?

  21. Haley says

    September 24, 2015 at 10:19 AM

Totally agreed with you on the alligator clips. I have thick hair and those are the ONLY clips that hold my mane. Also, Tea Tree Oil is da bomb! I love it so much.

    I like this post.
I’m not a big fan of tee tree oil in a clear bottle, but I like the Tea Tree Tingle shampoo/condish. I think the snap is a good idea, because I always have a razor in my kit in case I missed a spot. Nothing worse than getting out and finding a runway on your leg. I’ll check out some of the other finds, too!

The inventor of the Wet brush is a freaking genius! My daughter’s hair is always a hot mess but just a bit of detangling spray and this little baby works wonders. And I need to get a glass nail file for sure. My nails are a hot mess.

So I read this article last night once it went live at midnight but I was nursing so I couldn’t comment. Almost 24 hours later, I finally can! I love the wet brush too! It is amazing (I have long blonde hair too!) It is the only thing that makes it manageable! I added those alligator clips to my amazon shopping cart. I have been needing to get some and I love how your hair is always softly tousled in a beachy way! I will have to try them out and they are half what the Dry Bar’s cost! Thanks for the great recommendations!
